      I called Land O Lakes Water to service my water softener. I have used this vendor many times in the past. I was informed by the customer service ***resentative that the charge would be $199. This is a great deal more than they have charged in the past. I asked very specifically if this charge included the solution to the problem to be sure I would not be surprised with additional charges. The ***resentative told me this would be the total charge. The technician came and worked on our unit. The original complaint was that our water occasionally smelled bad. He said he could not find a reason for this and ***laced some parts it in the valve which was working perfectly before he came. After he was done, he asked if I knew that the $199 was a trip charge and the bill would be $359. I told him that was not what my wife and I were told and I would not pay that amount but would happily pay the amount I agreed to which was $199. He told us that he has had this problem with other customers receiving bad information from the customer service ***resentatives on a number of other occasions. The tech did not collect any payment and I called the office and told them I would pay $199. The *** said "I will have to call him" whatever that means.

      Land O Lakes Water used to be independently owned. The technician told me that Flotilla Partners has been buying up all of the mom-and-pop companies in the area and jacking prices through the roof. The website I where I looked up the company is:

      It says on both the invoice I have submitted and the website that Land O Lakes Water Treatment is a Flotilla Partners Company.

      We have gone back and listened to the phone calls between our *** and the client and the client is correct. Our *** made a mistake stating that the $199 would cover all of the repairs, she misspoke without knowing what the repairs would be once the technician got on sight and what the cost for the parts would be.

      After speaking with ********* the *** Lead we will use this as a training ****** and we will be standing by the $199 charge. She has informed me that the client will be mailing a check in and if we can get a check number and confirmation.

      I had mailed them a check for the stated charge of ****** and see that they have cashed it.
