    For two years I waited- homeless-(insurance money doesn't last that long) while DKI restored my condo after a fire. Representatives were standing in the parking lot, handing out business cards as the condo burned. They were hired by the HOA but I had to be after them constantly to do what needed to be done. One excuse after another- someone was sick, they couldn't get the supplies, etc. You can only blame Covid for so long. The first project manager was removed from the job because he couldn't get it done. Well, apparently no one could. The workmanship was poor quality, and my builder had to redo many thing that DKI didn't do correctly. I had to call, text and email to get them to call in for inspections. They also removed and disposed of, without my permission, my bathroom sinks, toilets, tubs. When asked repeatedly what happened to them, I got no response. My AC and dishwasher were thrown out on the landing and were destroyed beyond repair. When I requested compensation for the missing and destroyed items, I was told I would have to sign a waiver that I would not put anything on social media about the company. I would not do that. At one point, I could not get an email, text or phone call replied to. For a company that claims that they "put your life back in order" they need to take a look at what ethical business practice and customer service looks like.
