    I was attending the "academy" in August 2024 and from day one they didn't do anything they said they taught on their website. We watched ******* videos from day one instead of learning from the "teachers". After 4 weeks of hoping we'd learn something useful, we finally got to hold the tattoo machine. 4 weeks of only drawing some prompts and watching yt videos! Once holding the machines, we were basically left to our own devices! Little instructions were given and you basically had to beg to get a real example shown to you. I had no idea what I was doing and they just told me to keep practicing. I could watch yt videos on my own time to learn more!!!The $800 they charge for supplies must have been pocketed because there was no new supplies. All the supplies I had to use were old and constantly being ran out of. After the 5th week I couldn't take it anymore and decided to withdraw. I've been trying to contact the "school" to get a refund since SEPTEMBER 2024, because they are in breach of their contract and not only did they ignore my withdrawal letter but now have started to block/ignore my calls and my emails. Everything I paid over $2000 for I could have done at home, with new supplies and better equipment and then went to a shop for an actual apprenticeship.This place is the definition of a "racket". A former "teacher" from this academy is even saying he's glad he left the facility and not "contributing to the problem anymore." That says it all.
