    I'm unable to reach anyone and fear my storage units will be auctioned off. The storage units I have been renting for four years have been sold to Best American Storage (units 293 and 295). We previously were set up with auto pay with the old owners, we were not aware the new owners were not set up to do the same. I have a contract for a fixed rate for both units and now the rate has gone up. I've been threatened with a lein is how I know. I've been leaving messages with no response. First message left was because the storage was no longer locked on weekends after hours (at noght) when no one was there. There was an empty bottle of booze left in the hallway by some homeless person no doubt. I no longer feel safe and the storage unit is supposed to climate controlled but it was hot. I just need a contact to get my auto pay set up again and let them know what's wrong with this facility. Thank you.

    I paid $1705.56 for a 12 month's rent on my storage unit (#***) on January 25, 2024. >On April 9, 2024 they sent me a notice of AUCTION of #*** and a checklist detailing the seizure of my property.>At ~7:30a 6-1-24 I found my unit #*** had been overlocked with their red padlock and my possessions effectively seized. They were closed. There was no emergency or after hours number. I left messages at the email addresses the phone number on the sign and website.> At ~9:30a 6-1-24 The manager called and said she could unlock it late that afternoon. I told her that my plans were ruined.>At ~12n 6-1-24 The manager called and said that they had put the lock on in March of 2022 because I had left it unlocked and that it had been on my unit for 2 years! I was there last week! Said that she had taken their lock off of my unit.> ~12:45 drove to unit and saw the manager (*****?) leaving. She confirmed that she had taken their lock off and that a previous manager must have snuck in and put their red overlock on. She finally apologized.> At ~ 1:00 I was finally able to get what I needed from my storage unit #***.That Night - I couldn't sleep because I was worried about Best American Storage having an 'accidental' auction of my things. The next morning (6-2-24) I removed anything from the unit that is irreplaceable. I can't take the risk that they will seize it again or accidentally auction it off.I was able to find and rent a storage unit online with a different company - Stockpiles Self Storage I am going to begin moving my things from Best American Storage to the new unit next week. I have eight prepaid months left on my unit with Best American Storage, aka Dade City Self Storage, and *******************.

    on June 7, 2024:

    522 is cleared out, swept and ready to rent.


    Please refund the remaining prepaid 8 months of rent that I paid you in January.

    In April you sent me an auction notice and on June 1, you locked me out. You have twice broken your contract with me.

    You owe me:
    8 months: June 8, 2024 - Febuary 7, 2025
         8 x $142.13 = $1137.04
