CAVEAT EMPTOR or BUYER BEWARE. The Villages Golf Cars and Carts and Clubs of Ocala are not who you think they are. There has been a rumor that The Villages has purchased Carts and Clubs of Ocala. You talk to the people at Carts and Clubs and they will lie and say that it is The Villages Operating Company that purchased them and they are in no way associated with The Villages Golf Cars. Well, that is partially true. The Villages Land Operating Company, who also owns The Villages Golf Cars, DID purchase Carts and Clubs. The part where they lie is that the upper management has everything to do with the day-to-day operations. This is also the typical business model for The Villages where they are creating another monopoly in order to drive up the prices. *********** *********, who runs The Villages Golf Cars also runs Carts and Clubs. He is in ***** once or twice a month along with a few more employees. This type of lie and deceit speaks to their moral aptitude. Definitely, DO NOT purchase a Star Car. They would not have even considered taking one on trade before due to the poor quality. They only became a dealer because of lack of inventory during COVID. They are JUNK ******* sure if youve ever tried to buy a part or get your cart serviced with either of these companies, you will know that unless you purchased your cart with them, they do not want anything to do with you. You must spend thousands of dollars to purchase one of their carts from them before they will consider selling you a $3 part. Oh, and if you purchase that $3 part, you must let them install it for you at their nominal hourly rate. If these people lie and deceive the public, not to mention treat their employees like this, then what do you think they will do to you, the customer. All Im saying is to do your research. Better yet, shop ************** Power in *******, *******. They are thousands less than The Villages Golf Cars and Carts and Clubs of Ocala.
