    In March, 2023 I contracted this provider to replace my exterior siding on the front of the home as well as soffit and fascia around the front and the sides of the home. Our contract also included the back of the home but midway through the project they stated they cannot do the back because it was a on a ***** and it was too high for him to reach. Our contract quote was a little over $4000 however other charges arose due to replacing things here and there. The employee for this business is the owner's husband, his name is ***. This gentleman would arrive late in the mornings and would leave before 3 PM.Some days he would not show up claiming he was not feeling well, or because he had another work arrangement which interfered with our project. The project was supposed to be finished in 7 days and instead took *********************************************************************************************************************************** this way. Our contract indicates siding to be replaced and this gentleman used what I now know is plywood and it is starting to show signs of weathering (I did not know Plywood could not be used as exterior due to risks of rotting). There is waterproof barrier underneath the plywood but not over it and due to rain and sun the plywood is now splitting. I contacted this contractor on several occasions via phone and text and they are now ignoring my calls. I have asked for them to come and look at the project and the contractor told me to "caulk, sand and repaint" myself. This siding should last at least 10 years but it is not. I tried contacting his insurance and they do not cover workmanship errors. I requested a partial refund from this contractor so I can use it towards the new contractor and he has now blocked my calls. This is unprofessional and untruthful as he stated he will come out for any issues for the lifetime of the job (warranty) but now has blocked my phone number. Please help me rectify this.
