      We reserved a room from 11/19/22 -11/26/22. On the morning of 11/22/22 the room next to ** had renovations being done. Our room became filled with an overwhelming noxious odor due to the work being done. We could not breathe comfortably and the fumes caused our eyes to sting. I contacted the front desk to notify them of the issue and ask when the work would be completed. The staff member did not know and could not comment if the work would continue on the following days. The second time I spoke with them no offer to find another room or find another solution was offered even though I was clear that we could not stay in the room. We left our room for several hours in the hope that the fumes would clear out when we returned the room was still inhabitable even with leaving the sliding door open and the workers had stopped for the day. We found a different hotel to check into. When I told the front desk we were checking out due to the toxic smell and that we were leaving on Tuesday instead of Saturday no offer to resolve the issue was made. She said she would leave a note for management. It has been 2 days and we have not been contacted by anyone and the hotel has our email and phone number. I expect to be refunded for 4 nights we did not and could not stay in the room.
