    I had been waiting for fly babies to make good on delivering bird promised 9 months ago. I received the bird end of February and it is full of mites. The bird has trouble breathing and is not eating any more. I bought medication for it and it's too far gone. I want to complaint about quality of animal that was delivered. It is very unfair that this company breaks all promises and trust.

    Since the owner and manager was unexpectedly sick and died, we had to disperse our birds to various shippers and have not been able to control what is being shipped.  We will communicate with the customer and make this right.

    I finally get contact with ****, and he said this week the shipping company is on vacation, and the bird will be ship next week. So I'll wait until Nov.8. If I get the bird, I will set this resolved. If I don't get, I'm worried that I have to continue this case.

    August 24 2024 Paid on Zelle $274.90 Order two Lovebirds, one boy an girl Spoke with ***** and he said he would ship them, they were not shipped yet. Called several time and ***** has not returned any of my calls. Alls my messazges were when will the birds ship.

    I paid $475 for a baby Quaker Parrot and contact was continuos with owner until he got my payment! Now wont answer messages or calls! I was promised the bird to be shipped quickly and this week, which never happened! *** asked for my money back with no response at all and now Im seeing several terrible reviews. I never received what I paid for and I just want my money back

    *********************** *************. I brought it home to find out that it's an older bird, never socialized and I'm not even sure that it's a male as he doesn't sing at all. I have had him for 23 days, he or she still won't step up or let me near him because he hisses at me and tries to bite. I have raised many parrots in my life so I know this bird wasn't socialized after weaning. I was also promised a hatch certificate, a container of the food he or she was supposedly on and a friendly Cockatiel. The food was in the bottom of the box that looked like wild bird seed, soiled and had no water. Needless to say I am very unhappy. I would really like to be reimbursed. I don't want this to happen to another person as it seems that he does this quite often after seeing the BBB complaints. I would like a refund so I can adopt a Cockatiel from a reputable breeder. The amount that I am requesting to be reimbursed doesn't include the $300 I have spent for a cage, food, toys, etc...Thank you for your time.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This breeder is lying and after reading the 47 complaints over the last 3 years, they should be out of business. This was a bait and switch scam and I want to be reimbursed $275. Unfortunately, I don't have the Cockatiel that I purchased from you because he was not taming down at all. I had to give him,  (not receiving any money) to a breeder. Now I don't have a bird and I'm out $275. You blame the post office/shipping company? They must be sick of you filing complaints when this is 100% your fault! A hand fed bird will remain tame after settling in.  You didn't pay any attention to that poor bird after he was weaned.  

    You also promised me when I spoke to you that I would be getting a tame, hand fed, well adjusted, sweet baby. He bit me several times and I could NOT get him to stop no matter what I tried. I know a lot about parrots and would never use them just to get money. You should be ashamed of yourselves. The bird you promised me is the first picture.  The second picture is the one I received.  So that's your first lie. Second lie, you said he's a male, he's most likely a female as he does not even chirp nevermind sing! The breeder is having him or her DNA tested. Unfortunately this takes time so I could not include it in this complaint.  I'm very curious and hope to find out soon. Third lie, you said he would arrive in a warm container.  It was hardly warm. Thank goodness the post office kept him in a warm area until I was able to pick him up. Fourth lie, you said that I would get a container of food and he would have water.  He did NOT have any water. Fifth lie, you said he was hatched on 9/15/23. This bird is not 6 months old. He's much older.  You said I would receive a hatch date certificate. I did not receive one. Actually I received absolutely NO paperwork for that bird! I am vvery upset because he is a beautiful bird but not what I was told I was getting and extremely vicious.  Please don't try to tell me that the first bird that you promised me grew gray feathers overnight.  Thank you for your help BBB.

    We are sorry you are unhappy with your purchase. The bird in question was hand fed and very nice. Tame. Perhaps the bird had  trauma during shipping process. In ******** purchase you did agree to the terms and conditions before you bought which says in part

    "Thank you for purchasing a cockatiel(s) (hand fed). No refunds on any bird purchase including back ordered bird purchases. Cockatiels are sold "as is" 

    However, we will file a claim on your behalf with the shipping company. They are responsible once your bird leaves our care. Then I think we can get you a reimbursement.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    Again, you said that I was getting the 1st cockatiel in the picture who looks very happy and healthy.  The Cockatiel in the second picture is clearly not the same one as he or she has gray on its wings.  So please just reimburse me as I never signed or saw anything about no refunds or returns. I will NEVER do business with you again so a discount on another bird is a moot point.  You are running a terrible business according to your reviews.  I stupidly believed in you and I am very unhappy with you.  I am going to contact the *********************** and report you. This is clearly cruelty, neglect and abuse. You're selling birds for a profit and your aviary needs to be investigated. Please refund me $275 that I paid to a liar. I have tried to capture all texts but it only allows 6 total.

    I am sorry you are not happy with your bird. This is the same bird you ordered. It was hand fed and really nice and affectionate when it left here. There are no refunds or exchanges. However, we are willing to give you a discount on your next purchase.

    I have purchased 2 red factor canaries (birds) from Fly Babies Aviary on February 27, 2024 the payment was done by ***** because the seller is only using that type of transaction. I have paid $500.00 for the birds and also $90 for the shipping. The Seller, ******************* *************) and owner of the business told me that he will ship the birds on Wednesday February 28 2024 to be delivered the same week due to birds safety. I also received an email from the seller on February 28, 2024 stating "Your birds are on the way. Arriving tomorrow or the next day" and **** tracking number.Today is March 5, 2024 and the birds has not arrived yet, **** tracking number (EJ457945012US) is still showing the birds are in **** possession at ******* ** at the moment of writing this. I have communicated with ******************* however his responses were not helpful always saying that birds will come on time... I have suggested him to go to the local **** office where he left the birds, to find out what is the status of the birds and also to inquire about the health of the birds too. He has stopped answering my emails and SMS... Resuming, I have not received a product that I did purchase and I would like to receive my money back. Plus I do not want others to pass for the same scam situation with this business.

    We are sorry you are not happy with your purchase and delivery of your birds. We are filing a claim with the shipping company to get reimbursement for you. Once the shipment leaves our facility the shipping company guarantee's the safe delivery. In our terms of service, posted on our web site it says in part "The shipping company guarantees delivery of your bird(s)". They are responsible once the birds leave our hands. We will do what we can to get you reimbursed as soon as possible. 
    Again we are sorry this happened and we are proceeding to get you reimbursed.

    I contacted Fly babies aviary in ** and spoke with the owner ******************* about getting a baby Quaker parrot. I received a full grown, older parrot that has NOT been handled. I received him today, Dec 27,2023. **** told me that mine was recently hand fed and just now starting to eat regular seed. I called **** and told him about the bird that I received. He said that he will look into it and call me back. He no longer responds to texts or phone calls. I do not believe for a second that this was a mistake! This is a Bait and switch situation. I paid $475 and demand a full refund.I want the amount I paid plus $75 for the amount to return the bird express mail. I have included a picture of the parrot I received and a copy of the check I mailed to Fly Babies Aviary.

    I am sorry you are not happy with your purchase. ***** was told that the bird she purchased was weaned and eating on its own. We did not say that it is just weaned only that it is weaned. We do have a guarantee (warranty) as stated on our web site. In part it says:

    All birds -Delivery guaranteed. All birds are sold as is. No refunds, no exchanges, no returns on any bird purchase including back ordered bird purchases.
