    We just got notice 2 hours ahead of time that Florida broadband would electively discontinue service to our area because of the storm approaching. They do this EVERY storm which leaves us with nothing. No security, television and sometimes cell service in rural areas. In a tropical event, its essential for people to have internet service to remain safe and aware of potential danger. They fail us every time.

    On 9/2/22, we lost internet service completely at approximately 6pm. I called Florida broadband and filed a report. I was told we were part of a area wide outage and that their crew was working on it. As of 9/3/22, we still did not have our service restored. I called again and was told they were going to escalate my problem to tier 2 and that someone would be contacting me. No one contacted me, so I just called a third time since we continue to have no **************** and was told that tier two wont be back in the office until Tuesday. They had no response as to whether there was ever anyone working on this problem. We continue to have no Internet and pay $99 a month for it. We live in a rural area so having connectivity is basically the only way that we can operate necessary items in the house. Televisions, printers, security cameras and, at times, cell phones. I understand its a holiday weekend but we have work and business to conduct. This is a hardship and are left with no resolution after 3 days. I asked to speak with the owner but no contact information was provided by the representative. In summary, we will have no internet service for a minimum of 5 days. This is not acceptable business practice.
