  I was initially reluctant to go to a third party contractor for installation of my Tesla Powerwalls. My Powerwalls were installed 5-6 months ago, and I waited to put a review out, because I wanted to see how it would do for the summer. I could not be more pleased with the work that was done and the robustness of the network. The project was completed quickly and way ahead of schedule. Bumps along the way were addressed efficiently by knowledgeable and friendly technicians and front office staff. Five stars is definitely warranted for Goldin Solar for the quality of the work done at my house

  Goldin added a 2nd level of panels and batteries at a cost of 31k+.that began April, 2024. There were issues with the installation and they sent a tech out in June to repair. The next step was for GS to issue a revised plan to FPL. It is now, September and the revised plan has not been submitted. Consequently, FPL cannot hook the system because the plan has not been submitted. We have no benefits from the 2nd level of panels.We have called and text the owner, texted the company Representative at least eight times, left phone messages and they refuse to respond. NOT ONE WORD. We are out of 30K with no resolution. We have called FPL and they too are waiting on GS. As paid customers, they have abandoned their service and promise. What is required on the Revised plan is simple. Do not understand why they refuse to contact us with ANY status updates. Very disappointing! We are Seniors and feel totally taken advantage of by GS.

  I have to say ****** kept us informed of all the processes while buying the system. ******** managed to not go crazy with me asking questions on the status of the project to include permits from the *** and city offices. The technicians ****** and **** installed the panels and explained how to view the account on the app. Great service all around! Would definitely recommend this company, Orlando **

  I was referred to ***** Goldin at Goldin Solar by a friend when I began my search to upgrade my home to Solar Panels and Tesla batteries. Quite frankly, after the glowing referral and speaking with ***** I did not even bother to research any other Solar company. This could have been a risky endeavor. Throughout the process ******** who was my Project Manager and ******* her Supervisor were fantastic. I had both of their cell phone numbers. They kept me informed throughout the process. I can tell you FPL does not make things easy as they lose money every time someone goes solar and those two ladies navigated the process with finesse at times FPL does everything to frustrate the consumer. During the actual installation process I got to know Mac who was the head installer. I am likely a different breed, but I spent time with Mac understanding the process and even having lunch with him and his guys. They cleaned up the worksite every day. They were always there first thing in the morning and worked daily until the job was done. They made sure there were no open holes in my roof and I can say today we remain water tight. All in all, I high recommend Goldin Solar. My job was extensive with 57 solar panels, 3 tesla power inverters, 3 solar edge inverters, and 9 Tesla batteries. Since going live, the system has worked flawlessly. Even after install I have had some questions and ***** is quick to pick up the phone and answer them. If you are unsure, have Goldin Solar give you my number. Happy to provide a one on one with anyone looking to go solar.

  Goldin Solar was efficient, honest and did the best possible considering time constraints recently. I comfortably recommend them, as when one person on staff doesn't know something, another does. everyone I dealt with worked hard to get it done on time and on budget. and they did it.

  We were completely blindsided by Goldin Solar. Workers are not truthful and will say anything for you to sign a work order and then bill you. We bought a new house with Goldin Solar panels installed on the roof. Two years later we received a call from Goldin Solar saying they have to replace the inverter in our system according to the manufacturer. They told us in many different ways (on the phone and in writing) that it was under warranty and that we did not need not to pay anything. After Goldin Solar replaced the part, we were billed with $675 (six hundred and seventy five dollars) for the labor hours. When we complained, nobody responded.

  ****************************, your statement is categorically false, which makes it slander, which we can prove. 

  You stated that you were told that the work was under warranty and would not cost you anything. To be clear, we have on file, a signed work order from *************************** for this property address, explicitly stating: 

  "If the services we perform are not covered under a warranty you have with Goldin Solar, you will be billed according to the pricing listed below" 

  Pricing is then shown later down the form on the same page. 

  Since you are not a Goldin Solar customer, and you do not have a warranty with Goldin Solar, the service work was billed. 

  If you claim someone told you that something was under warranty, I can only speculate that this was to tell you that the hardware (inverter) was under a manufacturer's warranty. That doesn't mean that the labor is free, since you are not a Goldin Solar customer, we have no contractual or warranty obligations to you of any kind.

  The fact that we proactively reached out to you to let you know there was an issue with a part, and at no cost helped facilitate the procurement of the replacement part was us going the extra mile to assist you.

  It's perfectly reasonable that a company will charge for labor for a person that isn't a customer of the company. In fact, most companies probably wouldn't have been proactive to reach out to you to help make sure it's taken care of, and most companies would have charged for administrative time to obtain the replacement. 

  To claim that you were blindsided with the labor invoice, or that workers lied to you is a lie because **************** signed a Work Order Authorization very clearly spelling out the terms. 

  In reality, you have resorted to threats to harm our reputation if we don't give you free work that you are not entitled to. It's sad that you are taking advantage of a company's good reputation to get service work done for free.

  I have to say so far this company has more than delivered on their promise to fulfill their obligation as solar providers for me and my house. I'm heading into month 8 and am thrilled with the results thus far. In addition, company owner ***** Goldin and his staff (in particular ********) have been available, receptive and informative all along the way. Goldin for the win!

  Goldin did a great job! We decided to take advantage of the additional tax breaks provided when we needed to replace our roof. Our roofing company does not provider solar so we started the hunt to find a company we would be happy working with. We worked with 8 different providers, who all to their credit had a different and well thought out sales pitch. Goldin however was the only one to show up and be honest. Not over promise and not over sell anything. We knew what we wanted as we had done a ton of research so it wasn't a hard sell, we just needed to work with a provider we could by default trust. Their workmanship was unparalleled to some of the contractors we have used in South Florida. They were professional and on time. In spite of some miscommunications around financing, they worked to fix things and get us back on track as quickly as possible. Thanks Goldin!

  Many solar dealers use high pressure sales tactics. The lone dealer who DID NOT use this approach was Goldin Solar. We met with a local representative, *********************************, at our home. ******* listened to us as we explained our needs and goals and then told ** what Goldin could do for **, explained the process including the engineering of the system, inspections, installation phases, utility company hookup and a timetable for completion. He again met with ** a short time later with pricing for the system. We were very comfortable working with him and the price was acceptable. We ended up with an **** kw system with two *********** walls. Based on our previous electrical usage this system would be adequate for our needs and would be acceptable to our electric utility company for bidirectional grid connection.Our system went live in early February, 2022. There was good coordination between Goldin, the utility company and **. The system is mindless to use. There is no effort on our part to use this. We have gone through two hurricanes which caused power outages but with the *********** walls we were completely unaffected. The only way that we were aware of the outages was because all of our neighbors were in the dark. We have also purchased an electric vehicle. For a year now I have not had to purchase gasoline and all the vehicle charging is accomplished with solar electricity. ******** electric bill consists only of the utility companys minimum monthly connection charge.I highly recommend Goldin Solar. Our experience showed them to be honest, reasonable to work with and the quality of the equipment and the quality of the installation was great.
