I met **** at a neighbors house post Helena ********** My neighbor just had her walls cut up from the floor 2 feet. **** was there when I went to see the walls that another person, ***** had cut up. He reviewed with me this is the standard minimum to be cut after sea water enters your home, I had approximately 4 inches. ***** was unable to do other homes but vouched for ****. **** and I went to my house and agreed to have him cut the 2 feet from the floors and also begin removing hardwood floors. I left during this bc of my 86 year old mom and my dog. When I returned, he said they were having problems pulling the hardwood floors so would only finish one room. The day after completion I looked at my walls and he had only pulled off some of the baseboards, not all of them. Said to let them air dry and mold would die. After speaking with other neighbors and Servpro they informed me it is a minimum of 2 feet. After paying **** for a job NOT done, I had to hire someone else to remove the floors and cut the 2 feet of drywall throughout my home. He also showed me where black mold and green mold were growing in my walls and floors. He did reimburse me $2000 but I am requesting an additional $1000.00 as I could have easily pulled off my baseboards, and they didn't even pull them all. I am requesting this due to the fact we were breathing this and I could have hired someone sooner to remove the walls and floors. They did remove a king size bed, mattress that got wet from the flood and did remove hardwood floors from one room.He sent invoice to my email after I paid him, which was in complete disagreement to what we did agree to!I am enclosing pictures of what he did vs what should have been done according to FEMA!He didnt even remove all the baseboards, pics included, like he states on his invoice.
