      I went to dealer because battery in new ***** 3000 Generator was no good. I waited for them to call ***** and they said it was under warrantee. I filled out the warrantee papers and work order. They said the mechanic would have to check it out. After about three hours they said it was ready. I gave the battery to the parts manager and left. They called me and said they unbolted my generator and to come back and fasten it down. The mechanic remembered the problem but said he didn't check it but they told me it was ready and would have my battery when I got back. When I came back about 30 days later, they were closed for a meeting. I had forgotten about the battery and went back sometime later and said they knew nothing about it. The girl that filled out paper work was no longer there. I figured they were a large dealer in many locations they would be trustworthley . This was at ********* location. I don't know what they are trying to pull but they don't have my battery or a new battery. They offered me a battery at cost. ***** called them and the girl told ***** that I didn't leave the battery but she wouldn't have known because she didn't handle the ordeal. I didn't get any paperwork like any car dealer until the job is complete.

      To Whom It May **************** have searched our company records for ****************** name, address and phone number and found no work orders or parts tickets.  Based on the customers statement we would have had his ***** generator in our possession which means we would have opened an work order.  Without a record of the repair my response is limited to, I am willing to help in anyway possible.  It should be noted batteries are warrantied differently from machines as per *****'s warranty statement which is 1-year on the battery.
