This guy and company is complete scum. We gave him $35,000 in April 2022 to deliver a VW Bus Food Truck and it is now 9/21/2022 and he is no longer returning calls for the past few months. His businesses names and emails are:AMC Auto Imports Kombi food truck design Please do not give this guy a penny. He will do a facetime call with the truck and ask for a deposit then call with sad stories asking for more money and you will never see your truck. Absolute scum! Here's our story *************** has not delivered on the mobile food truck even though he said it would be ready by April 2022. I've reached out to him several times and is no longer replying. He initially asked for a $12,000 deposit to get started. Since this was a custom conversion project I assumed the deposit was a fair request. After a few days he said I wrote the check to his company Kombi and the bank wouldn't clear funds and that the check will bounce back. He told me that I need to have funds deposited to get the truck going. So I deposited another $12,000 assuming that the original check would bounce back. After a few weeks of going back and fourth and 3-way calling his bank. His bank confirmed that both checks cleared and *************** didn't realize it cleared. At this point he had $24,000 of cash. After a week or so he called me and said he has bad news. He said the body show is not able to fix the current roof and that he needed to procure a new VW bus to get the roof off of that bus to get my done. He said he didn't have the funds to buy the new truck and it would really help him if I gave more money to help get the new truck so he can pay the auto repair company and buy the new truck. I had a horrible feeling about it but paid $11,000 more. Now it's 6/30/2022 and no truck and *************** has stopped responding.
