      Went to *********** on January 20, 2025. ER doctor referred me to *************************************************************************************************. A doctor ***** ********. After talking to an *** at neurosurgeon and scheduled an appointment after she telling this retired veteran that they only excepted patients with certain insurance. I explained I was a Tricare for life social security insurance., finally after her talking to. Me as I was a *** with no funds., very disrespectful. Finally on January ******* still in terrible pain., a lady calls to reschedule at 11:15, mind you my appointment was at 3 pm on same day. I feel these folks cater to only rich at ******* and should be known for business practices.

      The patient had an appointment on 1/28/25 at 3:00pm for a New Patient appointment with Dr. *************** Unfortunately, Dr. ******** received an emergency and had to cancel his clinic early to do emergency surgery on a patient in the hospital.  Front desk called patient to let him know that they have to reschedule his appointment and this patient became irate and was yelling and carrying being very rude to her on the phone.  Patient then came into the office and started cursing at the staff members and making a huge scene and threatening them stating he is not leaving and will be seen by the physician. He then proceeded to tell them that he is going to make a complaint on our office and tell the hospital not to refer to us and that he will sue us for discrimination because that is not how you treat a veteran.  The front desk person called me very upset stating she doesn't feel comfortable and that she tried explaining to the patient that the physician had an emergency and that he had to leave to do emergency surgery on another patient and that he was not having it and refusing to settle down.  I explained to her if she feels threatened by the patient to call the police and let them handle the situation.  She called me back and told me that he had finally left and that he was stating he is a veteran and that is not how you treat veterans and that he was going to report us and file a complaint again.  We did make a note in the patients chart that we will not be rescheduling him due to his unacceptable behavior.
