They did a great job fixing my military son's necklace, but they cheated his mother with a gold earring repair. I brought an earring to be repaired. I asked if they could weld and fix the earring tension post. I asked to weld the ORIGINAL little solid gold earring post I brought them, and they assured me that they would do it. They called, and I came back to pick it up on 09/12/24, I saw a completely different earring post, they did job I didn't ask for! The color was different, the size was different and the weight of the repaired earring was also different (I weighed before giving jewelry for repair ).I was told that they simply made the earring post from another piece of gold and took the original instead. Why?! I did not ask for this! They did not even ask me if I wanted to replace it before do replacement! They didn't notified ahead that they are going to switch original earing post for another from different piece of gold. I would not have agreed! When I was there to pick it up I kindly asked them to cut off the post they made and give me back the one I brought them. I said I don't like what they did and if they can't weld the original parts together, then just give it to me back and I try to find another place in order to fix it. I didn't ask refund, I said them to keep money for their wrong labor. Then owner said he would fix earring himself and assured me that he could weld the TWO ORIGINAL parts together. He asked me to give them a chance to fix the situation happened. I didn't believe, but agreed. They called me very next day 09/13/24. So I came back again and realized that I was deceived again! He didn't replace post for the original I brought. Owner tried make me think he did, but it was not true, he knew, but still continued to lie me. He knows very well that this is not original! But for some reason they took original part and did a poor quality job from another piece of gold. It's different lengths, notch! Different weight and assimetric!

Dear BBB & **** Meinykova, we are sorry for the inconvenience and your dissatisfaction you experienced with our jewelry repair services.  Although rare, we strive to do everything to resolve any issues quickly and to the customer's satisfaction.  The damaged earring post you wanted us to repair your earring with had to have the damaged section filed flat along with the side that it was welded to on the earring.  This caused the difference in length.  I personally performed the second repair to your earring using the damaged earring post you provided.  We are still willing to do whatever is needed to make this right by the customer.  We have offered a refund and/or the option to replace/repair one, or both, of the posts if needed/requested. Sincerely, **** **** ************ *************************************************************

I am rejecting this response because:

Unfortunately, their answer is not true. After all, there are cameras and independent jewelers. I did not ask for a replacement! I asked for the original post to be welded. They did not notify me in advance that it will be not repair but specifically replacement of the tension post, and the earring will look so terrible and asymmetrical. I was NOT agreed with that! Secondly, I claim that this is a completely different tension post, because the notch is not original and has completely different look (even if they shortened it). BEFORE they took the original tension post, they promised me the second time to fix it. BEFORE that, I asked them to return the earring to me in its original broken form. I held the original earring tension post in my hand while the earring snd one they welded definitely looked different. They saw this difference! They agreed that they welded a different post! They showed me both (original and not original) tension posts at the SAME time, but refused to give original back to me. The owner personally promised to weld the original one back to earring, but deceived me because he did not change anything and next day returned me the same earring in a same terrible look. Everything is clearly visible on the photo! I do not need a refund. They are in the jewelry business and the cryptocurrency business, but there was a problem in returning my little broken thing back to me, which was nothing to them. Unbelievable! I was the one who offered them keep money for their terrible work, and asked them several times to return my broken earring parts back.

P.S. These earrings have a special value for me as a gift. They are priceless to me! These people simply ruined a thing that MUST remain to me in its original form.(They knew it too)

    Sincerely,

    **** *********
