    I started an Adult Hockey team at AdventHealth Center Ice beginning in March 2022. Following the conclusion of the season, adult hockey manager Misty Brown told us that we would not be permitted to sign up as a team or even as individual players again, without giving a reason as to why. We did not break any of their league's established rules and complied to every request of theirs. We had no issues with other teams and did not generate any situation that would prompt this decision. Following one of our games at the facility, Misty Brown walked into our locker room and demanded everyone show their ID's. When asked questions in a respectful manner, she responded in a hostile tone and would often ignore/deny our questions, truly showcasing the highest level of unprofessionalism. Nobody on our team felt welcomed by the management at the seasons end. Upon emailing the lead Hockey director, John Drysdale, I was denied of answers. He stated that he would only accept contact from our team captain regarding the 'issues'. The dilemma with that decision is that our team captain is employed at the same facility. He is hesitant to discuss with the hockey management as he fears he would be putting his job at risk. Due to the incompetent management who refuses to provide answers to recurring paying customers since the opening of the facility, us childhood friends, now adults, no longer have a way of playing the game that bonded us and shaped our friendships together. The attached supporting files show my personal emails to John Drysdale. I attempted to email Misty Brown as well, but to no surprise, I did not receive a response.

    This is an unfortunate misrepresentation of the facts. There was constant open communication between the team ******** ************* and both our Hockey Director and Adult Hockey Coordinator regarding the team's status in the league. It was mutually agreed that the team should not register for the following season AS A TEAM. No one was banned from playing in the league/programs or from the building. In fact, many players from the team played on other teams the following season. With regard to *****'s presence in the locker room: ***** was escorted into the locker room by team ******** ************ after he prepared the team and made certain everyone was in a proper state of dress. ************ is a valuable member of the rink's staff and, during our investigation into this complaint, made us aware that he was not in fear for his job - just that he lost control of his team and isn't sure why the matter has been blown out of proportion. I certainly appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint and believe this has been resolved (even prior to the complaint being posted). We are proud of our Adult League and appreciative of all our customers for choosing to spend their time with us. We make every effort to address any complaint or concern and take pride in offering a great product.
