    BUYER BEWARE This guy doesn’t stand behind his work. Bought a crate motor from him and when it came in there was no compression. My shop tore it down but couldn't find the problem. Sent it over to the machine shop and they said valves were too long. Corrected that but still no compression. Sent motor back to Lightning and they said fixed, but when I got it back they did absolutely nothing. Said a belt “was on backwards”. Still no compression. My mechanic finally discovered there was no key in the camshaft keyway allowing it to just spin. All this took nearly 2 years without the use of my Samurai. Lightning Conversions would do nothing and when I tried talking to them Alan just hung up on me.
