I am rejecting this response because: If a refund was issued in June then the alleged business had a different name and a request was made for no solicitation which was OBVIOUSLY not followed because you attempted to scam my aunt again. This month, once again, I got a refund so just stop your foolishness. This time I filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, FCC, CFPB, and the ******* ************************* and will again anytime regardless of the name of your scam or if you move out of *****************************, *******.I will not be happy until you stop scamming people, have ABSOLUTELY no future contact with my aunt, and tell your female dog phone representative, ******* that her singing *****, I got my money back without calling again, and God bless her!
Merry Christmas!
ecking the spam folder, still nothing has been received. I expressed that my aunt has memory issues and ******* said she understood because she went through that with her mother who at one time had 15 of, "these things." After 26 minutes on the phone I still have gotten nowhere. I asked why a code was needed and ******* said she couldn't get on her cancelation screen without that code and if she could she would already have me off the phone. I received a text with a link I refused to use. ******* got extremely hostile, hateful, and actually started taunting me on the phone. She was laughing and told me to call back so someone else would tell me the same thing. She then raised her voice and said if I didn't click on the link that I wouldn't get it canceled or get my money back. She then began laughing and screaming, "God bless you!" taunted me about not getting my money back, and hung up.
Sincerely,

I apologize for any frustration that has met *************************, after reviewing all of our records w The account was cancelled per her request on 6/16/2022 and a refund was issued back to the original credit card ending in **** for the down payment of ****** please see attached refund that was processed. We feel this case should be closed and resolved.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: First of all, I was told on my recent call the name of the business was *********************** by ******* and this response says its from Vin and Mileage. So which is it? Next, I had previously requested no future solicitation or communication with my aunt which obviously wasnt followed. Then, I was told I had to click on a link in a text to get a refund which I refused to do. So that is clearly NOT true because my refund was issued after sending an unanswered email with the list of agencies I had filed complaints with which included the BBB. Finally, I am still absolutely appalled by the phone representative, *******, who is the epitome of rude, unprofessional, and immature. I cannot fathom a grown woman literally singing, taunting, and screaming, Youre not getting your money back. God bless you! being employed in any position that involves dealing with the public. If thats who you hire youre desperate.Overall, I find any response from this business that doesnt include an apology for the way I was treated and a guarantee to stop soliciting my aunt unacceptable.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: My aunt is on the Do Not Call registry and the DMAChoices opt out list to not receive marketing mail so she shouldnt have been contacted in the first place. I would like a copy of your DNC policy which should be available upon request for public consumption. If the name and f this business is *********************** why is it listed as Vin and Mileage on this communication on the BBB site? Also, if you arent contacting my aunt again, why did she receive mail from *********************** today? I will be following up with complaints to regulatory agencies such as the **** FCC, CFPB, and state Attorney Generals offices as appropriate. This harassment needs to stop. I look forward to receiving your DNC policy.
Sincerely,

Hello,
We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration caused by our contact with you and your Aunt. Please find attached DNC policy, which outlines our commitment to respecting your preferences for communication.
We contacted you because we received an opt-in from you to receive communications from us. However, we understand that you no longer wish to receive these communications and have added you to our DNC list. We want to reiterate our apology for any inconvenience or frustration caused by our contact.
We would also like to clarify that VIN and Miles.com is simply a website for our customers to go and update their vehicle information. It is not a tool for marketing or solicitation.
Again, please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused, and we will ensure that you are not contacted again in the future.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
Sincerely,************************

I am rejecting this response because: There was no DNC policy attached from you. So again, a lie. I have made multiple requests for you to cease and desist ANY communication with my aunt. If you received an opt in please let me know how it was received. Again, another lie. If your website is just to update information why are you responding to my complaints of solicitation on your part? Thats right, you lie. I did receive communication from the ******* ************************ that my complaint has been received and forwarded to the ************************** in your state. I will be sure to update them with information to include you provided no DNC policy and continually provide false information. I will also complete more complaints to regulatory agencies based on this response.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: I couldnt get either attachment to open. Plus, all of my questions werent addressed. If vin and mileage is a website to store data why the apology for contacting someone? I will be satisfied when my aunt has absolutely no contact from this alleged business or any affiliated ones.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: First, my aunt is on the Do Not Call registry so in looking at your DNC policy she should not have been contacted in the first place so opting in should not have happened. A policy makes no difference if it isn't followed. I will be following up with the *** and FTC about this happening. Next, you have never addressed the question of what the actual name of this alleged business is since you say it's ************************ but on your BBB responses it says Vin and Mileage. Also, you haven't addressed why you're apologizing for solicitation when you say you're a website to store car mileage data. Why would you have a DNC policy about making marketing calls if you aren't trying to sale something? Finally, I am tired of responding to your responses that don't address my questions or concerns directly. I am not going to be satisfied with any response you give me, especially after the absolutely unprofessional treatment I received from ******* on my first call. She truly owes me an apology and deserves, in my opinion, more than a reprimand for her behavior. Anyone who listens to that recorded conversation would have to agree.
Sincerely,
*************************
