      I reached out to my Home Warranty Co. ******************** for a leak in the sink in my hall bathroom.The warranty company sent my information to this company and an appt. was scheduled for ***** to come fix the sink. Once he arrived and assessed the problem, I was informed that fixing the issue was not covered and I had to pay an out-of-pocket amount of $360.I was told that the dry wall had to be cut and then repaired after the leak was fixed. When ***** "fixed" the leak he had not cut the dry wall and said the leak was fixed. After a couple of days, the leak started again, and I called American Home Shield and informed them that the I had a leak. I questioned why I was been $360, when what I was told would have to be done was not done to fix the leak. A couple of days later **** from the same company came and fixed the leak I asked him how the first repairman fixed the leak without cutting the drywall. He showed me how the base of the pedestal sink was turned, and he then tighten two screws and turn the base back around. Still no cutting of the drywall.I spoke to **** who told me the fee was charged because there was a risk that the sink could have fallen, and the repairman could have been hurt or the sink could have broken. When I responded that none of that happened, he stated we can refund $150. I told him that in good faith I paid wait was quoted and the service that I paid for did not happen. Again, no drywall was cut. He stated the services order would be canceled I would get my $100 fee back from American Home Shield. I asked him how he could cancel something that happened and if it's going to be canceled, I should get my $360 back. **** then hung up on me. I believe that if I was offered half the fee then there is an admission that the service was not completed as quoted to warrant a charge of $360.I'd like a refund I don't think this is an unreasonable request.
