  TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!Never received deposit back because they know to take it out of your checking account so you cant get it back. Never showed up on the day promised so we had to spend an additional $4,000 for U Haul truck and additional trailer, payment for additional packers/loading truck and truck driving friend since we are in our 70s. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ANYONE!!!!

  Belmont Moving & Storage - Horrible experience. I originally booked a moving company through Budget Rent A Car only to find out they were just a broker. Upon calling Belmont Moving & Storage I was told that the movers were professional, would have plenty of padded blankets for items and would wrap and secure anything that was not in a box (furniture). Belmont Moving & Storage arrived on the day we agreed upon and it was all downhill from there. When they arrived and backed the truck into the driveway, they took out the corner of the stone wall at the entrance. 3 gentlemen from Portugal showed up and did not speak ANY english, we had to use google translator the whole time, not even kidding about that. They immediately started adding prices stating it would take up more room in the truck than quoted which it did not. They opened the back of the truck, which was a rental truck from U-Haul, and they had 2 empty boxes and one roll of shrink wrap and that was it for packing supplies so I had to provide all packing and protective blankets. The truck arrived on the receiving end (2 weeks late) and they told me it was extra money for the truck they had to use. 2 people arrived and would not even open the back and let me see the items or unload until I paid them in cash. I told them I had cashiers checks for the agreed upon amount and was told by Belmont they would accept that, which they did not. I was able to pay by Venmo after 3 hours of negotiating with the company and my items were still held hostage for more money. Some of the antique furniture and other items were heavily damaged with broken items and huge gouges to furniture. This experience with Belmont was the most unprofessional and has the worst business practices I've even been involved with. Lesson learned by me I just wanted people to know that doing business with this company will cost you more than just $$. First time hiring movers so I learned a valuable and expensive lesson. BE CAUTIOUS!

  If I could give no stars I would. In March of 2022 i was contacted by ****** of Belmont Moving and Storage. He Said they could move our 4 bedroom home plus a small storage room for $10,000. I asked if he wanted a video inventory of our belongings like Paramount did. He said my detailed list i gave him would be efficient and no need for a video inventory. Wanted a third down for a deposit, gave ** several discounts including a $500 discount for same day booking. We signed after they ensured me their trucks would be moving **. 2 days before our move a Budget truck shows up with three guys, we paid to have them pack for us. Found out when we finally got our stuff they haphazardly shoved stuff in the bottom of the wardrobes then put hung clothes on top. They took our stuff to ********** and came back with another budget truck to get the rest. Found out they were contracted out by Belmont to pack our stuff. They doubled our price saying the cubic feet went up and they havent picked up storage unit yet, and said we normally get a 5% tip??? WTH??? I had to give them a $1200 tip plus another third of the now total amount of $24,000 dollars, before they would pick up our storage unit belongings. Cut to our delivery date which was June 1st 2022 called they said it wouldn't get delivered until June 11, 2022. We had to sleep on an air mattress and use camping chairs we had to purchase for 11 days. When the van line truck showed up found out that they were a different company that was contracted to deliver our belongings. He showed up on the 11th a Sunday and said he had hired some local movers to help him move our stuff, they didnt show. My husband and I had to unload half a tractor trailer load of furniture with the guy in order to get our stuff, but not before we gave him $5980 dollars in cash. Trying to come ip with that kind of cash on the weekend wasnt easy with banks closed. Buyer beware do not use Belmont Moving & Storage ***************

  Highly unprofessional and they know how to swindle you I had documented all the items and sent pictures and got an estimate from them and decided to move forward with then for both my household articles and 3 vehicles. But the day they came to pick up my items they charged me an additional $5000 stating items were more and bulky and needed better packing. We called Belmont and they were so rude, they coolly said that the guy who took our order didnt know much and gave us an incorrect quote. I mean really?? Since we had to move to a different state we were on a time crunch and couldnt do anything, besides they said they will not refund the desposit if we dont proceed with them. On top of that they took an advance for the vehicles as well but when they dropped it off the guy said he was supposed to be paid in full. On calling Belmont they said they will refund the amount and so we paid the guy in full. We received a waiver form to be signed for the $400 they were to refund. I did not want to sign the waiver as there were multiple household items damaged and I was filing a claim with the insurance company. I did not want to sign any waiver at that point. Also why do we need to sign anything when clearly they just had to do a simple refund for their mistake? Once I received the claim sanction I contacted Belmont for the refund. They just responded that the refund has expired!!! BE WARNED. ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE CLEARLY FAKE.

  This one was of the worse experiences dealing with a business. I received a quote for very specific items and was given a quote. I am embarrassed to say I used them and the company they sent to do the actual move. When I called to complain, each company pointed the finger at the other. I paid a deposit as well more money to add more items. I was told to obtain 2 money orders, one to pay at pick up and one to pay at delivery. This company did tell me they are a broker and would be subbing to another company until the day I received an email detailing to whom the money orders should be paid. The company they obtained never showed up for 4 days and lied about when they would arrive each time I called their supervisor. Finally I called the second contracted company and was given a day the driver would arrive: the 4th day! Now, when the driver arrived, he called and gave me a totally different price and he was with a third company!! I had to pay the new charge in addition to the money order I had already procured!! I still do not have my belongings!! I think this is so very unprofessional. One of the Belmont customer service reps offered a $200 discount but it was not honored by the second or third companies. This fiasco has caused me to be mentally and physically ill and I wish to receive reimbursement because I have had to pay double what I was quoted and supposedly finalized due to told to obtain the two money orders!

  This one was of the worse experiences dealing with a business. I received a quote for very specific items and was given a quote. Not only did they ********** more, but moved way less. I am embarrassed to say I used them and the company they sent to do the actual move. When I called to complain, each company pointed the finger at the other. On the day of the move, they showed up late, and with a truck already too full to even transport the number of boxes stated in the quote. They came back the next day 3 1/2 hours late with no communication. And they showed up with an even smaller box truck than what was agreed to. They ended up loading that truck and then returning with the first truck they bought the day before. it was a total scam. In the conversation with the initial quote, there was no charge for the wrapping material, etc. but there was come moving day. In the long run it wouldve just been better to rent a truck ourselves and make the move, even though it was cross country.

  All the reviews on this company are by fake people. Notice the dates they were submitted. We have a class action setting up against Belmont moving and storage and Marshal ********* who are in in the same , same people. You will never see your goods or your money again. We have also reported them to *** and police. ****, ****, *****, **** all criminals.

  Please stay clear of this company! They are unprofessional, they lack communication and their costumer service is awful. I have called dozens of times and maybe a hand full of those they actually picked up. When I would express my frustrations they would get upset with me because " I am not being understanding of how moving works". I was given the wrong business card at pick up and I had to call a dozen times just to get the correct number so I can call to see where my things where at. They told me that I would have my things on the weekend which they gave me a three day buffer. Now they are saying it's going to be another seven days. This conversation is after me calling for two weeks asking where my things are. I even called early to just to avoid this and still I'm waiting weeks for my things. I Have been calling non stop to get updates. No one has reached out no one cares to get back to me. I have asked for a supervisor on multiple occasions and no one has reached out. I asked to talk to dispatch to see and was told its illegal to give our their number. I believe they steal peoples things or at the very least destroy them and then they make you wait for as long as you can until you file a police report. I have got multiple different answers on where my things are at. I have been patient as far as understanding this time of year is busy. I have had the customer service tell me they were going to call back in fifteen minutes after we hung up and then make me wait for seven hours and not give me an update. They are rude, unprofessional, and hang up on you if they feel you are disrespecting them. Do not go off of the good reviews from this place, because I can attest for every bad review and that they are true! Please do not go with this company. You get what you pay for, and with a "lower price" comes with lower quality service.

  Excellent movers! Highly recommend these guys to everyone!! Go with these guys if you can. They're fantastic - fast, careful, and professional, all at a great price.

  They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They took excellent care of all of our stuff and coordinated the logistics of the move exceptionally well. My move was from a two-bedroom second-floor (with stairs) to another neighborhood about a 10-mile distance. They came on time and finished within a reasonable time. They did a good job and refunded me for a few minor damages. All through the move, they were friendly and helpful.
