    I give 700$ to **** ****** K&M shutter installation &repair ,he tollme he is going to send me my receipt and then do my job ,and now he disappears

    K&M Aluminum was contracted June 2022 to install accordian shutters to our home. Initial deposit was paid with an estimated completion for October 2021. Job was not completed by given timeframe which was fine due to COVID and lack of available supplies. Shutters installed February **** in which I was informed that I would have to pay the rest of the balance owed (it did not occur to me that I paid the full balance since 10% was to be withheld until after the completion of the final inspection from the City). Received a letter from the city around June 2022 that the permit was expired and the final inspection of the shutters was never completed. I have contacted their office several times leaving voicemail requesting a callback with no answer or follow up. I have remained in contact with *****, the salesperson who has been the point of contact for the company hoping to get some answers and updates. November 21, 2022 I received a text from ***** requesting for me to sign/print name on a blank form (Notice of Commencement) which I refused simply because the form was completely blank. After calling the city, I was informed that the form is used to establish a permit; however professionally the form in my opinion should have been explained, filled out and then sent to me for signatures. Several unsuccessful attempts to contact the office and ***** had stopped responding to text after refusing to sign the blank form. I would like for the company to either finish the job or remove the shutters from property (if shutters removed, then we should be refunded our money). The lack of professionalism has me disappointed since this job has been paid in full since February 2022.
