I sent $1 trial membership fee and I want to cancel the subscription but they have me on a wild goose chase and I still can't find the place to cancel. Online Connections, Inc. I signed up for the trial this past week, within the first few days of April.Business Response

I enrolled in Online Services via Black People Meet at the start of 2020. I disengaged those services in October of 2020. Yet (and unknown to me) I was and have been continuously charged $31.47 monthly to this day!!! ************ has an account with us in our website www.bbbwdating.com with email address **************************. That subscription is canceled and the account will have Premium access until October 18, 2023. We don't have any account or charges dating to 2020.

I signed up for a Black dating online service on July 20. I paid for the service July 21st the amount of $54.98, have attached confirmation from the site accepting & confirming the account. I can also provide a bank statement showing the money being deducted.When I tried to use the service - receiving & sending out messages, using their audio service, texting through them, I could only send out. The online company kept asking me to pay more. This has gone on for 2 days. I reached out to them Saturday through ************ said they couldnt see my account, even when the bank was showing a pending transaction.On Sunday, I decided to call to resolve the issue, I spoke to two gentlemen. Both wanted the other person to fix it. When I said that at this point, I wanted a refund. One of the gentleman told me to speak English as my accent is African. Not only did they take my money they also insulted me yet they service a black clientele. His accent was Asian. I would like a refund & other blacks to know who they are doing business with.Business Response

Online Connections started an automatic payment of $31.47 thru PayPal every three months starting 1/28/23. I have no idea how this occurred. I have cancelled the next auto pay thru PayPal. ************ created an account on our website Dating for Widowers, under the username Seashell06. She purchased a 3 month Premium membership that same day. It is recurring membership, but it has not rebilled yet. This is clearly listed in the Upgrade page.
We have refunded ************ $31.47 and remove her account from our website.

A refund was issued, his subscription canceled and account deactivated. Refunds usually take from 3 to 7 working days for the money to reach the customer's bank. I saw a withdraw fee on my PayPal Card in the amount of $32.99 on November 29, 2022, and it was set on automatic payments. I really don't know who this company is. ************** upgraded his account at Deaf Dating Network using one of our $1 promotional offers. Our subscriptions are recurring, meaning that if the member does not cancel at least 24 hours before the expiration date he/she will automatically be charged for the monthly membership.
As per his request, I have canceled his subscription and refunded him $32.99. His profile with username DodgeRamGuy02 will remain active with basic membership.
