    We had a fence installed by Wimauma Fence and we had an issue with one of the gates. My wife called them and was assured that it would be no problem to remedy the issue. It took 2 additional calls to get someone out to fix it. The problem is that instead of just replacing the gate, they lifted 3 fence posts up, creating a gap and attempted to re-align the gate. It looks absolutely terrible and because they just wallowed out the holes in the gate to make their adjustments, we don't believe that it has any of its original structural integrity. For $3,146.00 this is extremely aggravating, and we made it clear that we are not satisfied with their "fix", and we were told, in no uncertain terms, that it was not their problem, but if we wanted to pay for some new fence posts, a new gate and the labor to install them, they would install them for us. This is absolutely unacceptable on any level after we just paid them $3,146.00 for the fence!, and because of their business structure, the salesman is his own business entity, the company is its own entity, and the installers are their own entity, we have no recourse to recoup our money, nor remedy the problem without paying more money, in which case, we'll pay a more reputable company to make the repairs before we pay another dime to Wimauma Fencing.

    Hi there,  customer satisfaction is our number 1 priority and we always stand behind our work, if there are any issue with a fence we installed we will come back and fix the issue free of charge to the clients satisfaction, as we discussed on the phone, you installed grass on the property 2 week After the fence was completed which caused the gate shouldn't open and close smoothly due to the added sod below the door. Even though this is not covered under the warranty We came back for free 2 times and tried to satisfy the client any way possible.   The client insisted that he wants installation of a brand new gate for free,  unfortunately we cannot install a brand new gate for free, the issue was caused by the installation of the grass which was done after the fence was already completed.
    Sadly we could not come to an agreement since the client was unwilling to pay for a brrand new gate.

    I am rejecting this response because: The property was graded and they did not have any problem installing the gate correctly on one side, so why they deviated from doing the exact same thing on the side in question is beyond everything. One side is done correctly, and on the other side, they literally dug the dirt down to clear the gate because they built the gate square, so that is not my fault in any way, shape, fashion or form. I've asked the owner to come here and see for himself exactly what the issue is, and he refuses because, after all, they got my money and they're done with it. As I've previously stated, the people who do the installation are not employees of the company, so he (Wimauma Fencing) has no recourse and therefore, I have no way of getting the issue resolved by them either. Another concern is that they broke the concrete that surrounds and secures four of the fence posts when they attempted to "adjust" the gate, which has compromised the structural integrity of the fence and as a result, I have to have that entire side removed and have a new fence and gate installed, which is going to cost me $3,302.91 (See attached quote), so asking for a refund of half of what I paid Wimauma Fencing as compensation for their poor craftsmanship and judgement is only fair, but the fact is that I know that not only will they not refund half of my money, they also do not have the financial means in which to do so. This whole thing with the BBB has been for not. We live in a world where it's perfectly acceptable for businesses to do subpar work and take people's hard-earned money without any repercussions whatsoever. I regret ever allowing a shyster like that to do any work here at my home, but ****** learned. If I would have done my due diligence ahead of time, I wouldn't be in this position now.

    Our Installers are our full time employees, we dont sub out the work to subcontractors, We always stand behind our work and we have no issue returning to get any labor or material defect fixed for free of charge.

    the fact is that the clients was very satisfied with the work when we finished it, We only ask for the final payment after the clients approves the job,   2 Weeks after the completion of the install the client did some sod work on the yard and thats when the the gate stuck due to the sod Grass that was installed. this is not our responsibility in any way, We still went back Twice for free of charge and tried lifting the gate so it can open smoothly even with the added sod that the clients put in. 

    the client was extremely rude and kept screaming on the team and demanded that owner of the company must right away come down to the site and that we must install a brand new gate and he is not willing to pay anything towards it., our clients always get discounted rates for for any work or additions that they want to the fence, we would do it for 30% off, the client was not willing to let us explain anything he was extremely rude and kept screaming and insulting us.

    we tried to do whatever to satisfy the client but he refused to accept,

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I'm only going to say this one more time. The installers correctly followed the grade on one side of our home, and for whatever reason decided to go a completely different route on the other side, dug out the swing path of the gate in order to make the gate open instead of just making the gate angled like the one on the other side, so how they could get it right on one side and completely fail on the other is beyond me. They have not been here twice for free. The first time they had to return because they did not install the handles on the gates, so that's irrelevant. The installers have only come back here once to address the gate issue and instead of just replacing the gate, they decided to lift four fence posts up higher in order to fix the problem, and therein lies the problem. My aggravation stems from the fact that the owner/manager refuses to come here to see the problem in person, take ownership of the mistake and remedy the problem. The installers do not speak English, so they could not understand what I was asking of them. The installers are not employees of the company, I've already had an attorney, *********************************, look into that, so the fact of the matter is whoever is responding to this complaint is a liar. Wimauma Fencing is simply owned and operated by someone who has no integrity. I am getting the fencing on the side in question removed and replaced by the same company that I've used at every home I've had in the past twenty years without any issues. I am absolutely done with this back-and-forth banter, either show some integrity or don't, but at this point, I'm doing what I need to do to address the problem. I have nothing else to say about the matter as it only adds to the frustration over it. They're incapable of admitting that they made a mistake, but that's typical in today's world, it's always someone else's fault.

    My vinyl fence was installed 2 weeks prior to Hurricane ***. After Hurricane ***, I had damage and called Wimauma Fencing the very next day. They responded with an email that it would cost $200 for repairs. I called to set up an appointment and did not hear from them for approximately 3 weeks. When I finally was able to speak with someone, they advised they were helping anyone who called and now were not taking any appointments because they were so busy. I advised that I was a current customer who had their fence installed prior to *** and it didn't matter. Also, I was quoted a cost for the fence and was advised the entire cost would need to be paid prior to installation. I paid the cost. However, when the workers came to install the fence, they only installed 2 sides and not 3 sides because my neighbor had a side. I felt I was due an adjustment but they said no. I believe i was ripped off because when the initial evaluation/cost was given to me, it was for 3 sides. Plus, they installed the fence before my hose bib so I am unable to use the hose in the backyard.
