    They replaced my power steering pump, and they - didn't put the serpentine belt correctly - bent the power steering hose which caused a leak - added the WRONG power steering fluid (then claimed "they're all the same" - no, ***** has a special one).Now need a new power steering pump, hose, belt, and **************** all because they messed up.Called and I asked if they'd cover the parts and labor they messed up, but because I was stranded in ******* and "had someone else touch their work" I voided their warranty. Then hung up on me...Now have a $2500 fix because they messed up.

    Good morning I **** **** in regards to this case with Miss ***** *******, we replaced the power steering pump on her car, and everything was working perfectly fine at the time of job performed. Days later she called me that her car had a leak, and I told her to bring me the car, even if she has to call a tow truck, to evaluate the car again, and if is something related to the the power steering pump that we replaced, we would be responsible in giving her any warranty based on what we did on her car, nothing else. Now I did told her if she takes her car somewhere else, our warranty will be voided because days later anything could happen to a car and without me to evaluate the car, we are not going to be responsible for any damages. She chose to take her car elsewhere which voided the warranty. Now she contacted me requesting a $2500 repair charge from another auto shop, and now weeks later she called me that she wants to be compensated for not just for I did in her car plus others things that she repaired on her own risk which she was advised. Thank you.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    1. I was stuck over 1.5 hours away. Towing would have cost an arm and a leg and he wouldn't even guarantee he would do anything. He said "he'd look at it and see but no promises." But why would I trust him...?

    2. When I called back to tell him the quote of the reputable mechanic I went to, he started yelling at me and hung up on me. I wasn't asking for him to cover the $2500 repair, but I think a refund of the original amount would be fair because I am fixing his mistake. If he was a truly good person, he would have covered everything as it was his mechanic's fault, but I was only asking for a refund of what I paid to him. 

    3. Based on the picture I attached and you can clearly see they put the belt on wrong and it frayed to pieces, so I would NEVER trust him to do more work on my vehicle. 

    4. I did research on what my options were and settled on leaving a ****** Review and contacting the BBB but it did take some time to decide what I wanted to do.

    ON THE ABOVE DATE I WENT AND GOT A ESTEMATE FOR ONE TIRE ON DRIVER SIDE FRONT OF MY VEHICHLE THE OWNER HUSBAND WASDOING THE CHANGE OF MY TIRE HE OUT THE FLOOR JACK IN THE WRONG PLACE I WAS THERE WATCHING THE WHOLE TIME, AS HE LIFTED MY VEHICLE I HEARD A SOUND LIKE A CAN CRUSHING AS MY VEHICLE WENT UP IN THE AIR TO LIFT THE TIRE TO BE CHANGED I WATCHED THE OWNERS HUSBAND CHANGE MY TIRE PUT MY LUGZ BACK ON, AND HAND ME MY KEY TO MY TIRE LOCK, AS HE LET THE CAR DOWN I HEARD THE SOUND AGAIN LIKE A CRUSHING CAN HE SAID IT WAS NOTHIN I APPROACHED MY VEHICLE OPEN THE DRIVER DOOR IT WAS STUCK THE OWNER HAD BENT AND PUT A HOLE IN THE DRIVER FLOOR BOARD OF MY VEHICLE HE SAID HE WOULD PAY FOR THE DAMAGES HE CAUSE AND TOLD ME TO GO GET THREE ESTIMATES, I DID THAT THE DAMAGES TOTALED 1500$ THE OWNER THEN GOT BELLIGERENT, STRATED CURSING ME AND TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO ABOUT IT HE HAD THROUGH THIS SEVERAL TIMES HE SAID NO ONE CAN MAKE HIM PAY ANYTHING HE SAID HE IS HISPANIOLA HE DOESNT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING AND TOLD ME TO WATCH AND SEE, SO I CALLED THE POLICE THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING IT WAS CIVIL I HAVE PICTURE FROM THE TIME THIS HAPPENED AND THE RECEIPT

    I attached the estimate of the repair of the car and also a brief statement of what happened on the date of September 22,2022 with my customer*************'s incident report on that date. I am willing to fix the damages on his car based on the estimated total of $428.00 that ******* Body Shop performed on that date, but he insisted and demanding me to give him $1100.00 in cash which I am not allowed to do, he got upset and continues demanding cash, and I think he intencion is not to repair the car, and I told him that I am willing to give him a check of $500.00 to do the repair and to keep him happy as my customer. I am willing to get into an agreement if he wants it. I also sent the information to the Florida Department which I sent you a copy.
