My husband stopped by Aamco to get a price on rebuilding the transmission on our f-150 truck. He was told that they just couldn't give him a price they would have to inspect it. We took out truck there and they held onto it 2 days before they contacted us with an estimate. We ended up getting the transmission rebuild. Noone called about any other issues before they started working on it during or after. After about two weeks they called and said it was fixed. My husband went it signed paperwork because he was getting it finance. After the paperwork was signed, he was informed that the truck was making a little noise. He told them that when he bought it in there wasn't a noise and why wasn't he told before he signed the paperwork? He drove the truck and immediately had to turn around because the little noise he said it was actually making was a loud noise. He told them that he was leaving the truck and they need to fix whatever it was that was making the knocking noise. The next day we went to pick up it wasn't making the noise but as soon as we left it started again. We took it back the owner/manager came to look at it and basically said there's nothing he can do because they don't work on motors. He looked so unconcerned and evil at the same time. We immediately took it to Ford which is down the road from Aamco and was told we needed a motor. This company is not to be trusted and we will be seeking legal actions. Companies like this shouldn't be in business. We paid $4000 for the transmission repairs and still can't drive because we need an engine, $10,000. btw if I wouldn't have left any stars.
