      On 3-22-23 I went to University Diagnostic Institute (UDI) for a med study. I contacted my Ins. and was informed that *** accepted my Insurance in full. I also contacted UDI and was informed that they accepted my Ins. On 8-7-23 I rec'd a bill for $210.69 for the ser I was informed was covered by my Ins. I contacted my ******* and they informed me that UDI provided incorrect Diagnosis codes and other incorrect info. The ****** informed UDI to resubmit the claim with the correct code. They further indicated to me that they had rec'd incorrect/incomplete billing info regarding this claim on 3 occasions. I inquired about appealing their denial but was informed that it was UDI that had to provide the billing info in order to process the claim. The ****** informed me that my cost share is zero until all of the info is rec'd from UDI. On 8-21-23 I wrote to UDI indicating the above and asking that they provide the missing info the ****** needs for the claim. See Attachment A. On 11-06-23 I again rec'd the same bill for serv's which my ****** indicated had missing info. I contacted *** again asking that they respond in writing detailing their position so that I could contact the ******* I offered to appeal this decision but needed the codes required by the ******* *** has not responded my request. See **************** 12-4-23 and 1-2-24 I again rec'd the same bills demanding payment with no exp or response to my previous request for info. See ******************* the period for appeal is over and UDI has refused to provide me or the ****** with the info necessary to process this claim I am respectfully requesting that UDI provide the info to process this claim to the ****** and not bill me further since I have no control over their failure to provide the ****** with the necessary info needed to process the claim. This dispute is only with UDIs billing department and not reflective of the excellent work and kind service I receive when I visit their facility.

      I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. I promise to bring you full resolution in this matter. A lot of what your BBB Complaint details is exactly opposite of the experience you deserve at our practice. I apologize immensely for you having to spend countless hours on chasing billing issues. This should not be your fight at all, unless we don't get a positive response from the insurance company. Based on your concerns, you are missing follow up from our team and I hope that you will allow me the opportunity to discuss with you and fix this. I am escalating this to the highest level of our billing team and billing company. This matter will not go unresolved. I will be in contact with you immediately.
