  We called Custom Air on a weekend and they were able to come out and check our air conditioner within a few hours. It was a simple fix, a relay of some kind and wasn't ****** priced even for a weekend call. We ended up calling them back out for an estimate on a multisplit for *********** since our first visit from them went well. Now we have never been more comfortable as summer heat sets in. We have never heard of ***** units before but these are so quiet. The amount of air they put out on *** is increadible. Poker nights in the summer may just have gotten longer.Thanks ********

  The $5,249 installation was PROMISED to include a free one year service check and cleaning ("just call us to schedule next year") but today the owner denied they had discussed and promised that to me. He also denied that I negotiated a second free annual cleaning in return for the smaller capacity compressor I did not approve, and to up my Google review from one to three stars. Now my review is back to one star because of their lies and denials. Quote was given for an 18,000 BTU mini-split heat pump in writing but a 17,000 BTU system with a half pound less refrigerant was installed. The winter heat pump output will not work below 50 degrees F. so I need to turn on space heaters then while the specifications for my system say it heats down to five degrees F. Buyers are advised to check the model number on the compressor's label to be sure you get the performance specs you wanted. The Daiken site says mine puts out 17,000 BTUs even though the model number has '18' in it. Special features the system is claimed to offer by the estimator and Youtube product videos should be independently verified by the consumer. The actual crew was not especially well trained, damaged interior dry wall which they fixed, installed compressor crooked on the pad, overlooked things like missing screws, was not able to answer all my questions about features and they wired the system wrong so it had to be fixed by the supervisor before it would work. Several followups were required to get all aspects of the installation details complete but this was done as I requested with no complaints and may be normal with this kind of installation. The fancy custom paint jobs on their trucks look sharp but they broke oral promises to do a free annual cleaning as advertised and skimped on fully qualified first rate installers and/or failed to supervise them sufficiently.
