    I called the business to have my jeep fixed. I was told from another shop that I needed the rear end fixed. When I called the shop I spoke with the owner. He asked me what was going on with the jeep. I told the owner I did not know what was going on but I was told it was the rear end. The owner told me to bring my jeep in and they would look at it. The owner called me back shortly after my jeep was towed to the location and told me everything the last shop told me. So I assumed he looked at my jeep and I owe exactly what was wrong with it. I paid $940 to get my jeep fixed. I picked up my jeep and drove away. Within two minutes of driving away, I could hear the exact same noise that was there before I towed my jeep to the location. I called the owner and I can tell he is use to customer complaints because he was defensive and ready to argue. He told me he fixed what I told him to fix when in reality i did not tell him to fix anything. I told him what the last shop told me was wrong. He just took that and did not take the time to see what was really wrong with my jeep. So I paid $940 and the owner did not fix what I brought the jeep in to get fixed. Im out $940 and my jeep is not fixed. The owner did not care nor did he take the time to see what was wrong with my jeep.

    miss geothcha contact myself **************** 2 weeks ago and ask if i could replace her rear wheel bearing cause she said she had it check out at 2 different shops in ************ and they told her that it was the rear wheel bearing but they couldn't do the ***********.   at no time did she request a diagnostic for the noise.  she only ask how much which i charge to do the rear wheel bearing.  she had the vehicle tow to the shop  once it arrive and i got the vin number i call and gave her a price  she said fine but it be two weeks before she could pick it up.   no diagnostic was requested.  we did what the customer ask us to do installed rear wheel bearing.  thks ************************* manager

    I am rejecting the response because I only told the shop what was told to me from another shop. I made it clear that I did not know what was wrong with my car. If I took it to another shop and they turned me away and told me one thing, I just dont under why Precision Auto Tune would just go with what another shop said and not finding out what the problem was that was the whole reason I took my car to a **************. If I needed to pay for a diagnostics that was not mention and I did not mind paying for whatever needed to be done to my car that is why I took it to be repaired and I understand it cost money to get your car repaired I was not asking the shop to do anything for free I Feel like the shop owner just did a rush job to get me out the way and I feel it was not quality service for $939.39

    she lied.  sorry she request rear axle bearing.  ask her for a copy of her invioce  looked under customer comments.  it says customer request axle bearing.   everything that customers tell us or request goes into that box i have been during this since 1971.  i learn LONG TIME AGO TO WRITE DOWN WHAT THE CUSTOMER SAYS ABOUT THERE VEHICLE.  SHE ONLY REQUEST AXLE BEARING.  AT NO TIME DID SHE ASK US TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT.  WE DID WHAT SHE REQUESTED.  COULDN'T TEST DRIVE WHEN FINISH CAUSE MY TECH SAID THE *** HAND WAS BELOW EMPTY

    I am rejecting this response because:
    This location is very unprofessional. The company asked me what was wrong with the car. I told them what another company told me. I was told by the manger that they would take a look at the jeep while they had it and call me back with the price. If I knew exactly what I was getting fixed I would have called different shops to get the best price. AAA will tow my car where ever I tell them to tow it. If I knew exactly what I was getting fixed I would have asked for a quote right then over the phone before my car was towed there. I was told they will take a look at it and call me back with a price. Why call me back with a price after the jeep gets there if I knew exactly what was wrong with my jeep?? Clearly being in business that long taught this location NOTHING. only want this complaint to go on record anywhere I can file a complaint because I will definitely never do business here again. I am not a mechanic. Why would I tell the professionals what is wrong with my car why would I guess whats wrong with my car?? And clearly I did not trust what on company told me thats why I took my jeep to another company. I am definitely going somewhere else I can buy want this complaint on file so other customers who look at reviews and complaints can make a better choice before going to that location. $939.39 and my jeep is not fixed. Also the mechanic told me to my face he drove my jeep after he fixed it. The mechanic also said in the mangers presents that he drove the car and it was making the same noise. If we talk to the mechanic he will say other wise. The gas tank was on the * line not below. So there was enough gas to test drive it and see. The owner of this company is a complete CLOWN

    read the first respond that it how it happen.  at no time did i ask her what was wrong with her car.  at no time did i say i would check it out.     like i said she call and ask if i could do rear wheel bearing i told her yes she had the car towed to us.  i call and gave her a price on replacing the rear wheel bearing that she had requested.      after she pick the car up she came back saying the car was making the same noise.  i told her we did what she had request.  at that time she said you all should have check it out.  i explain to her that you said you had it at 2 other shops and they told you that it need rear wheel bearing and that is what you requested.  we did what you request.   she needs to complain about the 2 shops that did the wrong diagnostic... there is no diagnostic charge on her invoice.  cause no diagnostic was requested only thing she requested was to replace her rear wheel bearing.    thks ****************

    the owner of the shop did ask what was wrong with my car. I am not looking for anything for free!! I am not a mechanic! Why would one business listen to another business diagnosis!! If I went too two different shops and they turned me away CLEARLY THEY DID BOT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS OR COULD BOT FIND THE PROBLEM!! Why would a shop listen to the customer and not do a diagnostic. I was definitely told the shop will look at my car. If he was not going to look at it to see what was wrong with it first why would I tow my car there just to get a price?? If I knew exactly what was wrong with my jeep I would have called around to get better prices before spending $940 here and still having the same problem. Im not asking for anything for free yet the owner still wants to go back and forth with me. That shows how well the customer service is at this shop location. I will continue to file every complaint I can on this location. The reviews on ****** say the same thing Im saying This man is lazy and does care about quality service also the tech who fixed my car came outside and told me what he thought was wrong with my car. So even tho the tech knew what was wrong with my car the location still only choose bearing to fix. If I needed more why didnt the shop call and let me know I needed more work instead of having me drive away in my jeep thinking it is fixed BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

    listen she call and ask if we could do her rear axle bearing, because she had it at 2 other shops, she said they told her she needed the axle bearing replaced, but they were unable to due the work.   she ask if we could replace the rear axle bearing, i told her yes.  get the car here so i could get the vin number in order to give you a price.    the car arrive i got the vin number call got a price for parts and labor for the rear wheel bearing.. i call the young lady and gave her the price for during her rear wheel bearing.  she said it would be 2 weeks before she would have the money to pay for it.  i left the vehicle right were the tow company drop it.  after a week we pull the car in and replaced the rear axle bearing upon her request.......  LIKE I SAID ASK HER FOR A COPY OF HER INVOICE LOOK UNDER CUSTOMER COMMENTS;  IT SAYS CUSTOMER REQUEST REAR AXLE BEARING.      WE DID WHAT SHE REQUESTED   IT HAS NOTHING TO DUE WITH THE OTHER SHOP... BUT WHAT SHE REQUESTED REAR AXLE BEARING..      TRUST MONEY WAS A ISSUE I HAD TO TAKE 50 DOLLARS OFF HER **** IN ORDER FOR HER TO GET GAS.  I AM DONE WITH THIS ISSUE.......     SHE NEEDS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE ***** THAT TOLD HER SHE NEED REAR AXLE BEARING.   AT NO TIME DID SHE ASK US TO DO A DIA.  SHE ONLY ASK IF WE COULD REPLACE HER REAR AXLE BEARING.       REMEMBER ASK HER FOR A COPY OF HER INVOICE.   THKS SIDNEY

    I am rejecting this response because:
    If all he needed was the vin number to tell me a price why would I tow my car to his shop and I could walk outside to get a vin number to get the price?? Thats because he told me he would look at it before he gave me a price. And that is why I had my jeep towed to his shop. Also I didnt put gas in my car because I was driving a rental and did not care to send my car to the shop with gas because where do they need to go? There was enough gas for the mechanic to test drive the jeep as his stated in his previous response. Also when he called me back with a prince he told me $928. I asked him was that with taxes and all fees he told me yes. When I got to the counter to pay he then told me a price of $978 or something around there I asked him what how did the total go up and I did tell him a sad story of I gotta get gas so that he would not go back and further with me about the total. He simply removed the $50 without an argument. I am not sure why he wants to make it a point I didnt have gas in my car when it was by choice. I did not ask him for nothing for free and I did not ask him for any favors. The invoice says I asked to replace bearings but that is incorrect because it should say customer was told it was wheel bearings. Im not complaining on the other shops because they where honest and said they could not do the work. Instead of acting like they can and taking my money. On ****** this location has more then one complaint of taking advantage and f women. The shop owner sits and smokes Newport cigarettes while talking to the customers. I do not want anything for free nor have I asked for anything for free.
