    On 8/8/2024 I took my vehicle to Auto Experts on ********************, Acworth Ga explained that my car experienced the Warning-High Temperature Sensor coming on the evening before and the temperature gauge read hot but it was not smoking or steaming. They said it was likely the Thermostat and /or the housing, upon inspection they quoted ****** which also included a recommended drive belt replacement. On 8/9 it was ready and they tested it , it was good to go, I paid and picked up on 8/9/24 I live 7 miles from the shop and got home no problem, the next morning after driving 9 miles to ************, my car did the exact same thing they supposedly fixed. The shop is closed on the weekends and so I dropped it off and left the key with a note. When I called them on Mon and asked if they saw the car there, **** who is the shop mgr said not they hadnt looked at it yet, but then called my husband back 10 minutes later and stated , that the cooling fan is not coming on and it will be another ******* dollars. When my husband questioned why wasnt this checked before ,so we could have been given a more accurate estimate, he sd there is no way to tell if the cooling fan isnt working. **** said for the inconvenience he will take $100 off the price, my husband said no. **** was very condescending had no customer ********************** empathy or concern, he sd well you can pick it up then. When I called back and asked why wasn't this tested before we paid over 800 for it to still be having issues, he sd their is no way to test the car for the fan until the thermostat is fixed, I expressed my frustration that they are the "experts" and giving a customer a full picture of the issue and for me to hve to come up with an additional 800 dollars was ridiculous, he scoffed and said well thats all we can do. I told him that was unacceptable and I will pick my car up. I wanted part of my money back, I had to pay to tow it to another shop because I do not trust the work that they do here.

    In October 2023 I experienced problems with my car with the check engine light on and backfiring. I took it to Auto Experts for a diagnosis and they told me it was a bad coil pack and that it would take $563.00 to repair. I approved the repairs and paid the amount of $563.00. On today, April 15, 2024, my experienced the exact same problem when I started my car. I called Auto Experts to report the repeat problem and was told they only replaced 1 coil pack (instead of all 4). After calling several other mechanics, I was told you never replace (1) coil pack, you replace all of them. Also, I was told that coil packs for my car only cost approximately $150.00 and about 30 minutes of labor - that $563.00 for (1) coil pack is above the cost the replace all 4 coil packs and spark plugs. Auto Experts told me I would need to bring my car back and pay additional charges to replace another coil pack, when several mechanics have told me that all coil packs should always be replaced and that the cost of $563.00 for (1) coil pack is outrageous. As a 67 year old senior citizen with no knowledge of this, I have been taken advantage of by Auto Experts and this is theft by deception. I am requesting Auto Expert refund $300.00 of my money back so that I can have all 4 of my coil packs replaced - they charged me $563.00 for (1) coil pack and it does not cost that much to replace all 4.
