    I have gone to Cherokee Auto tech for over 10 years now. Even though I moved 20+ miles from the workshop, I continued to go there for help - as I trusted what I heard (never checked with another workshop). But the last experience (this past week) has definitely made me realize that one should trust but verify. For headlight repair and minimal body work (to make sure the head light can be installed), Cherokee auto tech charged me more than twice the quote I received from a collision repair shop (unfortunately I had committed to get help from cherokee auto tech by the time I learnt the quote from collision repair shop) and the job that would take 2 days took 6 days for Cherokee auto tech. The owner gave no consideration to my requests/inputs on repairs I needed and continued to insist (and completed) on the repairs he would do, no consideration to 6 days it took to complete the job (before the start of the job told me 3 days, on day 1 indicated 4 days, on day 2 indicated 7 days). ****** learnt - hard one though, spent more than twice the money and got below par customer service.
