A friend recommended Mr. ****** of D-Vet Maintenance. Our ** coils kept freezing up. Our friend came over an assisted by putting 3lbs of freon into the unit and also put in a dye to look for leaks. When no leaks were found & the unit was still not blowing our friend called Mr. ******* He agreed to comeout later that same day however our friend left. Mr. ****** came with much equipment & hooked up his gage & stated immediately we needed freon. We informed him that's not possible as our friend had just put 3lbs in early that day. We asked if he could use his equipment & check again for leaks before putting more freon as we really did not think the unit could take it or needed it. Mr. ****** said no, that's not how it works it needs to build pressure & because it's not he needs to put more freon in. Reluctantly, we watched as he put lbs after lbs into the unit @ a cost of $150. per lb. He then changed out another part which we later learned was fine & did not need changing. He then came inside to the attic where he saw no problems according to him. Less than an hour later said his charges were $750.00. We zelle the money as he was still in the house. We did not turn on the ** unit that night as it was cold however turned it on the following day only for the unit coils to still freeze which was the same issues we had that our friend informed him of which according to Mr. ****** he fixed. We sent him a picture less that 24hrs later showing him what was going on & informed him he had fixed nothing. He did not respond so we called. He answered & said he will come out the next day at 1pm. Even after making a 2nd appt with him, we was so uneasy about his dishonesty, we contacted him and canceled the appt. We have since then had to get a new ** ************ were informed we needed also an electrician because of the damages Mr. ****** created. He put too much freon causing the unit to super charge & catch a fire. Our experience with D-Vet Maintenance was Horrible & dishonest
