My car (*******************************) and my roommates car (***********************) was wrongfully towed. ******************* sent a vague email stating that cars parked where there are cones will be towed. There was never a time or date about when the towing may occur and they did not try and contact us before being towed. Most importantly, the two spots we were parked in did not have any cones in the parking spots. We both were in and out throughout the whole day and parked in spots with no cones after the email was sent. My roommate even went to his car in the middle of the night and saw no cones, but we were towed the next morning (4/19/23). The front office did not help at all and she stated I find it odd that you were the only people who did not see the cones. Making it seem like my roommate and I are lying about the situation or we moved the cones ourselves. We even have photo evidence that there were no cones in our spots the night before the towing. In addition, our water was turned off the next day without a notice. We were also unable to move into our apartment for a whole month even though we were already being charged rent at the beginning of our lease and did not have hot water for a month after we were able to move in. My towing fee was $220 and ****** was $195. The apartment complex should cover this charge for having terrible communication and towing us when there was no cone in our parking spots.
