      I had a hair procedure done on 2/13/23 at the ****************** location. The results did not come out as advertised, resulting in scarring and improperly placed hair. I was told I could go back to work within a week or so but the results were so bad that I have not been able to work in person for almost a year. I was told that everything went well and to be patient, which I did but after about a 4 month point I began to realize that something had gone wrong but the facility never brought me in to do a consult or rectify the issue. The **** (******) that saw me initially did not follow up with the 6 month appointment as was promised. I was told she left the practice and moved to *******. I have suffered for at least 8 months with inflamed bumps and scarring that I have not been able to work in person. They prescribed two different antibiotics, steroids, and shampoo to try to remediate the problem. However, I'm concerned that I have been the only one reaching out to them and there has not been any follow-up except by me. All promised appointments except for one, which had nothing to do with the problem I was experiencing were not done. I never spoke with an M.D. except a few months ago who promised to follow up and did not. My last conversation with them stated that there was nothing they could do. As a result of what I believe has been a significant lack of oversight and accountability I have been left *******************. No medical doctor was supervising my treatment except the two technicians doing the work (one appeared to be in training). Something clearly went wrong in my procedure as half of my head (the half the trainee was working on) resulted in significant bumps that led to scarring. I know this because the left half by ****** did not have the same complications. As a result of their medical oversight, I can never wear my hair short again and I was promised I could. I would not recommend them for any hair procedures.

      We take all customer feedback seriously, and I appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised in response to the complaint and requested refund.  
      Customer - **********************;
      The complainant mentioned issues related to a hair transplant completed on 2/13/23.  
      The first concern is regarding results not coming out as advertised. We dont promise any specific results in our advertising or our consultations. The patient wanted as many grafts as possible, but we never quoted or suggested the number since it is impossible to know until the actual procedure.  
      Day of procedure (please see notes and photos). We reviewed with the patient that we could not create complete coverage.     
      A follow-up occurred on April 10th, 2023, via phone with *************************, PA. (See notes)  Patient is doing well, photos sent, patient healing as expected and denies any concerns.  
      August - Approximately six months after his transplant. The patient did not show up for his scheduled PRP treatment on August 14th, 2023, but did walk in for it on August 24th, 2023. We did proceed and provided the treatment. PRP completed by ***************************, MD. (see notes). Very comfortable with the procedure, transplant is progressing well, complaint of red spots on right side of forehead- possibly ingrown hairs. He provided a RX for Keflex 500mg 2x per day. The patient also started on Finasteride.
      September 14th - The patient called, still concerned about bumps: *********************, MD RX - steroid.  
      On October 11th, the patient spoke via phone with ***********************, PA. The patient is still concerned about bumps. RX is another antibiotic.  
      On October 30th, ***********************, PA, followed up with the patient - The patient said he stopped taking the prescribed antibiotic because he didnt see a change. We requested that he continue taking as prescribed as we needed to mitigate the response. The tissue appeared to be deeper and cystic. RX sent again. We asked him to come back in 2 weeks. (November 15th) 
      December 7th, 2023 - emailed *************************, Clinic Manager, to do a follow-up. She emailed requesting pictures and an appointment timeframe. 
      December 12th, 2023 - The patient emailed back, stating the situation had improved some. We requested he place a warm compress on his head for us to treat when he came in.  
      No further response.
      The patient did ask if the technician who performed the procedure was trained well. Our staff of MDs and technicians are all experienced and trained.  
      We understand the importance of resolving customer concerns promptly and are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction.

      I am rejecting this response because: I would like the name of the physician who was registered with the state Medical Board for the ****************** location on 2/13/24 and throughout 2023 as well as the registered agent for the clinic. I would like to state again that my concern is that something went wrong with my procedure that caused bumps and scarring to one half of my head (Ive attached photos for March 29 (two) and then two from June 15) and a poorly spaced section on the right side of my head temple area (the same side that I experienced problems and the same side that was not done by **** but a newer technician).  I also refute the assertions that I did not follow medical advice or missed any scheduled appointments as I was very motivated to resolve this issue. I was told I could go back to work within a week or so after the procedure and clearly, the photos show this was not reasonable and cost me numerous meetings/conferences that I had to miss due to the poor outcomes on one side of my head.  I am not sure which doctor was present as I never encountered a medical doctor during my time at the clinic except for the *** procedure that was completed.  My concerns are that the consultation that was promised with ****** was never kept and I have been the only one who has been reaching out and am being told to try various things from special shampoo, steroid cream, and two separate bouts of antibiotics. However,no one has reached out to me to attempt to resolve the issue through an appointment or physical inspection of the procedure area. I would expect that such an invasive procedure should require follow-up and in-person follow-up if needed or if things dont go as expected.  In my case, this follow-up did not occur.  Im not sure if this is because ****** left the agency and my case was somehow missed, however, my concerns are legitimate and Im not happy with the quality or level of oversight provided by the clinic and the lack of qualified physicians on staff to follow up with my concerns.  In conclusion, I would have appreciated that the moment I was having difficulty which I was sharing via email with ****** until she left and various other staff after her my condition and concerns were never adequately addressed which has left me with scarring.  I was attempting to be patient throughout the process and was following their recommendations of letting time heal the area but it has almost been a year since the surgery and clearly something in the procedure did not go as planned as evidenced by the problems only on the right half of my head.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I had concerns related to the quality of supervision by the medical doctor overseeing the technicians and those practicing under his license. However once this complaint was filed the clinic administration was supportive, contacted me promptly, and were prompt in issuing me a refund for the procedure.
