I am writing to file a formal complaint against Microf LLC regarding a significant discrepancy in the calculation of my Early Purchase Option for Lease-Purchase Agreement No. *************. My agreement explicitly states under "6. CASH PRICE" on page 2: "The cash price of the leased property on the Agreement Date is $*********, including sales tax." This language clearly indicates that the quoted cash price of $********* is comprehensive and includes all applicable sales tax. However, upon inquiring about the Early Purchase Option, a representative of Microf LLC quoted me a buyout amount of approximately $********. This figure was presented with the assertion that the $********* cash price in the agreement was a pre-sales tax number, and an additional sales tax amount of approximately $****** needed to be added. This directly contradicts the plain language of my signed contract. As per my agreement, the "Early Purchase Option" (Section 7, page 2) allows me to acquire ownership by "tendering an amount equal to the amount by which the cash price of the leased property exceeds 50% of all lease payments made by you." I have already made lease payments totaling $********. Based on the terms of my agreement ($********* - (50% of $********)), the correct buyout amount should be approximately $********. The additional charge for sales tax, which is already included in the cash price per the contract, represents an overcharge of approximately $******. I have attempted to resolve this discrepancy directly with Microf LLC, but they continue to insist on the incorrect calculation, which adds sales tax that is already included in the stated cash price. This constitutes a clear misrepresentation of the contractual terms and an unfair business practice.

**. *******, thank you for your feedback. You entered into a lease-purchase agreement with Microf in March 2017 for HVAC equipment.  In your signed agreement we disclose that we will file a UCC1 in public records to provide public notice to potential buyers that the leased property located at your residence belongs to Microf. We do not have any record of you requesting to have the leased property removed from your home but are happy to discuss your account and options available to you to obtain ownership of the leased property. Please call our office at 855-642-7631 to further discuss your account and options available to you.

I was late for previous issues. I made a $3XX.XX payment in Feb. I called the next day and asked if I was 100% caught up they claimed I was all caught up. I get a bill again and it says Late Fee Return Check Fee nope. I didn't have any returned checks as I removed my Checking account. Let me just say all interactions with company has been acceptable no rudeness. I talked to someone yesterday Shaniqua she said she would reach back out to me that day I never received anything from them so I don't incure more late fees I paid in full the invoice today. Just unacceptable that they didn't reach back out to me yesterday.

MICROF is stealing money and charging unncessary fees. They will not answer inquiries about why they continue to claim I owe money even though I have provided proof of payments. They will not provide me with the contract information or payoff information. I have been paying on this for 2 years, I have no idea how much longer I have and I am getting charged HUNDREDS of dollars for returned check fees, which is untrue. I tried to use a card several times in one day that I thought was the correct card, but wasn't and I was charged a $60.00 fee each time that card was DECLINED. I ended up paying with a different card on the SAME DAY... Also I get harassing calls and letters stating that my system will be repossessed. I am not behind on my payments and have reached out to NUMEROUS people at MICROF but NO ONE ever answers. This company is very deceitful and is fleecing Americans of their hard earned money.

Microf has been contacting me about my final payment that I paid. When I log into the portal there are no open invoices for me to pay, when I review all my past invoices they all show a balance due of $0.00. I have been working with Microf to attempt to resolve the issue, however when I request an invoice I am told they can't generate an invoice? If there is a payment due then there should be an invoice to reflect that payment due. I can't pay online and have been told to call them to pay, I have no invoice to reference and the company refuses to provide an invoice. I have been paying online for 4 years without an issue and now all of a sudden I can't pay online? All records indicate a balance due of $0 and all I'm asking for is proof that there is a payment due and Microf refuses to provide that proof instead insisting that I pay over the phone.

We also provided instructions on how to locate your final invoice and pay the amount due in our payment portal. We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced. April 5th.2024 I paid $184.54 to Microf,LLC***** ***** ***** ** ** *** *** ******* ******** Over the phone and they still have not credited my account for it.when I tried to speak with a manager they hung up the phone on me.Now I am getting past due notices. This was my April payment, since then I have sent then the may and June payments of $184.52 by bank check and they say that they haven't gotten them either! Microf is a financing company who financed my new furnace and we have been paying them for 6 years. In January they said our last payment would be in July, but now they say December! and I can't get this resolved no matter how hard I try! We even have a bank statement that shows that they pulled the money out of my husbands bank account and still they have not resolved the matter!

Mrs. ******* and Mr. **********, thank you for your feedback. Microf's lease-to-own transaction includes monthly renewal terms with a purchase option and is not traditional financing. We received a call from you on 06/05/2024 and you were advised a member of management would return your call to discuss your account within one business day. A member of management spoke with you on 06/06/2024 and educated you on the recent payments received on your account including your April 2024 payment and sent you a transaction history on 06/07/2024 for your review. We also confirmed we have not received your mailed payments for your May and June 2024 renewal periods.

We reminded you of an audit completed on your account in April 2023 that resulted in a reduced lease payment and total cost to own. This change appears to be the source of the discrepancy on your account, so we are working with our lease servicing software vendor to resolve the issue. We will continue to provide updates until your billing concern is resolved. Please contact us with any additional questions or concerns at ###-###-####.
