This business performs background checks. They obtain your private information to accomplish this. They also seem to love spouting laws to defend their actions when anyone complains about how they are conducting business. When my background check was completed satisfactorily, I asked that they purge my information. I was refused and they spouted all the laws with which they complied. Why do they need to keep MY information. This is MY information, and I was forced to give it to them and now I want it purged. What do they need MY information now that the check has been completed? When the company who contracted with them asked on my behalf, they spouted the same laws that protected them from having to comply. They now have my information, and it is just a matter of time before there is a data breach and MY information (that I don't want them to keep) and my life will be vulnerable. My request is reasonable, yet they hide behind laws and I should be able to have MY information purged from a company I didn't want to have it to begin with. Just because what you are doing is legal doesn't necessarily mean you should. It is good business to treat people reasonably.

They require that you "wet sign" forms with no accommodations or consideration for physical impaired people. I unfortunately have to go through these people for a job, and their website claims how they are cutting edge yet still require you to print and scan? This is the first time I have ever had to do this in my entire career. This company needs to get with the times and be more accommodating to people with disabilities.

My experience with this organization has been less than satisfactory. I have been awaiting a background check to be completed by this organization for almost two weeks, going back and forth on my information and receiving several emails from various individuals with varying information. I am actually an HR Leader who has dealt with dozens of background organizations, and never have I ever experience such unprofessional behavior. They are leaving me in limbo with no results. Continue to state that ************* is still under a breach of which was lifted over two months ago, yet, they aren't able to access. This should no be an issue of the candidate ever. It is imperative that they are transparent and are consistent with the law, which they are not.

********************* has fully recovered from the cyber-attack that knocked its primary index back in January 2024. ClearStar received official court confirmation from the State Court Chief Deputy Clerk, ********************, that they have successfully completed the index restoration efforts. As a result, ClearStar has resumed processing Fulton County background checks as normal. ClearStar added additional resources dedicated to working on the completion of all pending searches as quickly as possible and we are happy to report that ClearStar has caught up with the backlog caused by the cyber-attack
