If I could zero stars I would. Next Door Flooring installed *** floors over our engineered hardwood in 2022. The The next year, the floors started to buckle in the kitchen. I called Next Door Flooring and a few weeks later ***** came to to inspect the floors. When ***** removed some of the flooring, there was water underneath which was odd. We had a plumber come out to check for leaks. The plumber checked for leaks from the dishwasher and the sink, no leaks were found. Next door replaced the flooring that buckled in the kitchen. This year (2024), our floors started to buckle all over downstairs. I called Next Door Flooring several times to discuss this issue, but no luck. After several calls with no response, I sent an e-mail. ***** e-mailed me the back the same day to tell me during the warranty repair water was discovered underneath the flooring which can cause damage. He also advised water should not be poured on the floor, no mopping, no leaks, and the floors should only been used for residential usage. He also advised since the floors have been installed for two years they are no longer under warranty and our warranty request is denied.Since we had the house checked for leaks and there are not any, how could water get underneath the floor in the kitchen and why is the rest of the floor buckling? Apparently, something is not sealed correctly. We had another flooring company come out and a general contractor which both advised the *** should not have been installed over the engineered hardwood. In addition, it was discovered there was no moisture padding between the *** and engineered hardwood. We we charged for the moisture padding but apparently it was not used. So basically Next Door has done a terrible installation job and charged us for a product not ******* not recommend.

We did install LVP floors at the residence in 2022. In 2023, Mrs. ***** called us because the floors were buckling in the kitchen. We ordered additional flooring and covered the damage under warranty. However when we removed the damaged flooring we noticed that the area beneath the floor was wet. We also noticed that the homeowner was running a mini salon at the residence. We informed the homeowners that the floor is water resistant but not waterproof. Spills & damp mopping is ok, but wet mopping, leaks and non-intended use would eventually lead to water working its way underneath the floor. The water would then have nowhere to go and would end up damaging the floor. We do not seal the floor and the pad is attached to the product, it is not installed separately. We regret that Mrs. ***** is unhappy and has had a poor experience with the floor. However we are unable to cover the damage under a warranty claim.
