    I had the owner *************************** come out and measured the window on 8/16/23 and paid a deposit of $208.22. Total cost is $416.45 to replace and install the window . Estimated time was 5-7 weeks. I was told the window came in and however it was cracked and a second window was ordered. This was was also cracked so a third window was ordered and I was told it was due to come in on 10/19 or 10/20. I cannot get the owner to return my calls or respond to my emails. I feel like I have been scammed by this owner. I am a retired senior citizen on fixed income. Can you help me?P.S. I was told if I canceled it would be $50. Whoever is the vendor they cannot get the window corrected since it has tried 3 times. I feel like I have been scammed by this company.

    We have provided multiple updates to the customer regarding quality issues with the glass units that we have received, and we have been working with our supplier to have those issues corrected.  Since the initial order, we have had our supplier provide us with several remakes due to even faint scratches on the glass units we received.  We explained that this is an unusual situation to require so many remakes in an order.  Since we know this one glass unit is going in a door, we have been more thorough with our inspections and have rejected glass units even if they would be considered acceptable under industry standards.  Another company may have approved of one of these glass units just to get the job done.  Since one pane of the glass unit was shattered, we offered to replace it with one of the glass units we received that we considered damaged until an acceptable glass unit has been received.  We are sorry that our efforts have caused such issues.  We have responded to the customer and will process a refund today with our apologies.
