  ******* customer service. No phone support, and chat support is useless, expecting customers to solve issues they are experiencing themselves. You are helpless if you experience problems as there is no other recourse than the online chat. I canceled due to their failure to help me with download issues.

  Just got off the chat with this company and Im disgusted by the way they handled an obvious theft or security breach. Being a company that offers to protect ya from "hackers" they chose to blame, misdirect, and IGNORE the facts they gave me. I clicked off the auto-renew button at least 3x's in a year only to be told that I logged in the day before it was due and unclicked it...... I told them "then ya can plainly see I have not signed in or used the *** for over 50 days. The reply really blew my mind "we dont track log in's."WTF?"Ya just told me I signed in 16 days ago and unclicked auto-renew but ya cant see that I havent signed in or used your services for weeks?"I told them that I was hacked then and I need treat it as such.This place just kept glossing over my concerns with passive-aggressive answers leaning towards "no big deal" and now Im floored by their response and lack of accountability. I feel very violated by the way this situation came about because they never explained how this could of happened. To me there was only one way it could have happened,,,,,,, its a scam.....

  They had a great offer 3 years ago and so I signed up for 2 years and got 1 year free, for like $40. Come 2023 it had been so long, and I had stopped using the computer I bought it for, it fell completely off my radar, and they autocharged me 60 renewal without notice, under a different business name (************). It took me a bit to see the charge and connect it to Surfshark.I tried to see if it was usable on my phone and it prevented half of my apps from working, I couldn't access most websites, it slowed everything down, and when I disabled it it would turn back on. It's total trash! I reached out to request a refund and they have a staunch no refund policy. If you have to be sneaky and charge people under a different company name, and then refuse to refund the money you stole in order to keep the lights on, it says something about your product quality. If you had an acceptable service maybe you wouldn't have to resort to literally scamming people out of money.

  Opted for the 7-day free trial and then tried to cancel on day 6. Was told my card was already charged for $30.00 and that per policy, no refunds would be provided. He told me I shouldn't have paid the invoice if I wanted the free trial. I said that was nowhere listed on the website & if that is truly the process, it should be clearly listed. Since it is not, and since I am contacting them within 6 days, can I please have a refund processed. He replied that all sales were final. I told him it was a scam and that I would be reporting this to the BBB. He said "we cannot assist you any further" and ended the conversation. I have documentation of the entire conversation as this was done over live chat. The advertised 7-day free trial is non-existent.
