    I was contacted by a staff member of Coach ************** (DBA Jefferson Consulting, LLC.) through Instagram on Dec. 29, 2022. I was invited to attend a free coaching presentation on Sunday 1/15/2023 during the presentation I was encouraged to sign up for one of the subscriptions, I selected the $297 subscription and informed ***** J, that the subscription did not fit the direction of my company profile, she stated I could choose another subscription and receive a FULL refund. I did not create a login or utilize any of the services, and the next day I reached out to inquire about my refund. I received a message stating a refund would not be issued. My issues stem from not utilizing the services and being charged while receiving untimely responses for my refund request while receiving several spam messages promoting the business that I am no longer interested in. Additionally, Im disappointed that Coach ***** would represent her brand in such a way, I truly admired her as a businesswoman and looked forward to re-joining the program at a future date however, this situation has left me extremely dissatisfied.Furthermore, I did not sign anything acknowledging my understanding of the refund policy nor was it stated during the presentation, therefore I am entitled to receive a refund. I appreciate the Better Business Bureau looking into this on my behalf and Im looking forward to your response. Thank you, ***************************** ************

    Hi,

    The client attended a free virtual workshop on January 18, 2023 and enrolled in our coaching program at the end of the presentation. The amount paid was $297. 

    The following day, our staff received an email requesting a refund  due to her 'excitement and inability to contain it' as stated in the email screenshot provided. 

    In the same email attached, she also expressed this not being a good time for her financially after speaking with her husband because they are buying a home. 

    While it is an unfortunate situation, we have a 'no refund' policy on our website 'Terms and Conditions'. This policy is also listed in the FAQs area of the checkout page used to enroll in the program. 

    It is our responsibility as a business to list our refund policy on our website. It is the customers responsibility to read the terms and conditions of any purchases made. 

    We respectfully shared this with the client via email on several occasions. She has demanded a refund daily. 

    We have cancelled her account but will not be issuing a refund. She has the remaining 30 days to consume the content if she wishes. 

    Thanks for this forum to express our side. 

    We have been in business for 12 years and this is only the 2nd complaint we've ever received, after working with literally thousands of clients around the globe.

    I am rejecting this response due to not agreeing to receive the advertised content Coach ***** is suggesting for 30 days, it has been two weeks since I made the purchase and I have not viewed any content.

    Regardless of how many business complaints were filed over its 12 year tenure, I am a consumer who did not receive what I paid for & I have the right to express my concerns.

    My only request is to receive a full refund at this time.

    Hi,

    It is up to the client to use and/or access the online program. Not accessing it by choice doesn't warrant a refund. 

    The purchase was made.

    The program is accessible for 30 days.
