      Horrible business. We've tried to cancel our account multiple times, they continue charging us a monthly fee even though we don't use them at all anymore. This month's charge was $104.85 for zero transactions. They say if we cancel we won't be PCI compliant, but our new website provider and payment processor is PCI compliant. When we point this out, they stop communicating. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. What a joke they're rated A+, there's multiple lawsuits against them for shady business practices.

      Merchante has terrible service, they kept funds for over a week in Feb of 2023 before depositing them to our account, then we had customers who were charged twice by Merchante with no follow up by Merchante to either us when we asked for help, in that same month I never got deposit reports that matched what was deposited into our bank account while we spent hours on the phone trying to get help for our customers who were charged twice, we tried to return credit card machines several times and were not sent labels and once we did get labels and sent the machines back that Merchante continued to charge us and lost their tracking on the delivery, **************** told us that we were under contract for another six months when we tried to cancel but when questioned said that actually we were not under contract. They have cost us clients and business and many, many hours of employee time. And now, after being told that we are all paid up and can close our account that we still owe them money but do not provide info on what the charges are for. If I could give them less than a one star review I would!

      So disappointed in this company. 2 months ago they did some maintenance to their virtual terminal and its been a mess ever since. They have no timeline even now when things will be back up 100%. . They say 24/7 support but that is only for their other platforms. When they go down you can't get to someone till 9am EST. When I call the emergency # at 6am that their system is down, they have no clue and the emergency # does NOTHING, they just tell your support for VT starts at 9am. Unacceptable support for their product. They have a security issue that I brought to their attention, still no resolution. I've been asking to speak to a manager for 2 months now via email and phone. Haven't heard a peep from anyone. We have been a long term customer of theirs with 4 ********************** accounts. They have changed over the years and could really care less about their customers. Think twice and do your research before signing any contract with them.

      MerchantE errantly charged my company rental fees on equipment we had purchased outright. When this was discovered and they were notified, they only refunded 4% of the fees they took from us. There is no dispute about the error yet MerchantE has failed to return the funds that are owed to us. We will be seeking legal action if this doesn't get resolved in the next few days.
