Around the beginning of May 2023 Ansco contractors broke our water line while installing **** fiber optic cable in our neighbor. Around the beginning of September 2023, we noticed that the water line was leaking in the same area where it was initially broken. Ansco did make a repair to the water line. Around the beginning of February ****, we noticed a water leak in the same area again. Ansco has been notified but the repair has not been made. We also asked ************************** to take a look at the situation. The investigator confirmed that the leak is not from their side. The lack of communication indicates to me that we are being ignored by Ansco.

ATT hired this company to lay down fiber in my neighborhood in January. Shortly after the work was done in my yard, my water bill drastically increased, Ive had 2 bills in the 600 dollar range pointing to waterline damage from when they dug up the yard. I reached out to this company and have been given the run around. First someone asked me to send a picture of my bill and they would show their boss and get back to me, this was months ago, as of today still no response. I reached out to their customer service line and someone reached out again telling me to forward her the info and bill, I sent her the bill and she said someone would come to my house for an inspection and a resolution- this was almost 3 weeks ago. I am tired, Im not sure what else to do and it infuriates me because I never asked for this, and then ATT has the nerve to call me and try to sell fiber to me. Do not let this people dig in your yard, get a lawyer if you must because in the long run you would save yourself the stress and headache.

    Good morning,

We had a supervisor and crew member visit the homeowner to investigate a water leak from our work. They found no visible signs of a water leak and spoke to the homeowner. The issue is that the homeowners water meter is faulty.  We contacted the County for them and they will be coming out today to make the necessary repairs.  The homeowner agreed with our findings and was appreciative that we helped them determine why their water bill was so high.

We are glad we were able to assist in finding a resolution.

    Sincerely,
    ANSCO

Ansco came over yesterday, they looked at the surface for water and determined there was no leak. We suggested they needed tools to determine if the leak was below the surface but they had no such tools, we suggested they call a plumber who could determine the leak and they said they did not want to be responsible for the cost. They then said that with how the water reader was spinning it must be faulty. They assisted ** in calling the county to have someone come and assess the meter. The meter was assessed this morning by Fulton county and we were informed there is definitely a leak and it is not a faulty meter. We have reached out to a leak detection plumber and if he determines that the leak is coming from where Ansco dug up then the issue is far from resolved with the company.

    Good afternoon,

We have reviewed the case again and without additional information there is nothing else we can do. Our assessment includes a visual confirmation that the yard is dry and the water meter is spinning. If they possibly hire a plumber and they are able to determine where the leak is we can go from there if we are involved. At this time there's nothing else we can do as they would not let us dig up the yard where we crossed the water service for visual confirmation that it was or wasn't damaged.

    Sincerely,
    ANSCO

We reached out to a plumber who detects leaks and we are currently waiting on him to come. As we know more we shall inform. No I will not be allowing Ansco dig up my yard to further ruin it.

    Good afternoon,

One of our supervisors went by the address today in an attempt to get an update on the situation. He rang the doorbell and their Ring camera asked him to leave a message so he asked that they contact him with an update. As of now, from our view there has been no digging around the water meter in order to diagnose the problem and their meter is still rapidly spinning as it was at the last on site meeting. We will be happy to update further once we hear back from the homeowner and the plumber's assessment.

    Sincerely,

ANSCO LLC was hired by **** (Project No A0279FJ) to install fiber in my subdivision. The crew that was used to dig up my property (without my permission) did a terrible job. I have spoken to crew leads on-site, one has taken pictures and provided POC and promised to reach out to their supervisor. I have also reached out to the company ********************************************* to have landscape issue resolved but no feedback has been given.Spring time is near and I will have to start cleaning up the mess they made, removing rocks left behind, replanting sod that was destroyed - all these take time and money.

Recently, a crew was out here to install **** fiber lines. We have Turf on our front yard. Turf was ripped and was not fixed or put back to its original state. Also, ground wasnt leveled and is uneven and bumpy. ****** was suppose to return to get this fixed. He came back and didnt do anything. We spent thousands getting our turf done and now we have to spend more money getting the turf replaced. Every time Ive called the **************** was told there is no updates on the ticket At this point a lawsuit might be our only solution.

On Monday, 11/7/22, at 10:05 AM, I answered my 'Ring" doorbell and saw two males at my front door, wearing reflective vests. The supervisor (******) verbally identified himself as a contractor for ***** and requested to gain access into my backyard to install fiber optic cable. I keep my gate locked at all times. I told **************** I was uncomfortable allowing any strangers in my backyard, and I preferred to be at home when the work needed to be done. **************** stated they needed to finish the work that day and said the law allowed him to enter my property. I asked him for the specific section and code that allowed him to do so. He stated he was going to call the police and then enter my backyard when they arrived. **************** never called the police, and I observed his crew on my surveillance cameras entering my backyard. The cameras recorded one male using a hammer to take out a portion of my cedar wood fence and allow the rest of the workers in, damaging my fence in the process. (I have photos of the damage). I returned home on Wednesday, 11/09/22. I checked my sprinkler system because I was aware of an **** contractor who damaged the sprinkler system in our neighborhood while digging for ****. I was also aware the company refused to cooperate until that neighbor called the media. I discovered that none of the sprinkler systems were working in my backyard, and they were working perfectly fine before the rude and unprofessional workers of Ansco and Associates entered my backyard without my permission. I am not unreasonable. Had they communicated, I would have made arrangements to come home and allow them in my backyard. I was under the impression that they were going to call the police before they entered, but they lied. One of the workers went into my covered patio area and checked out my bbq pit, which had nothing to do with their work. I have a damaged sprinkler system and fence. They had no business touching an item I use to feed my family. Intrusive & rude.

New fiber optic line was laid in our neighborhood by this company, and they were acting on behalf of **** as subcontractors. They broke our sprinkler system. When they returned to fix it, they actually made it worse. They are not well versed in sprinklers. They broke another section that wasnt even damaged the first go round. They were unresponsive for requests to return, and unable to properly fix it. I have had to pay $150 to fix this on my own, having a local landscaper fix it. I have submitted to them a copy of my landscaper receipt and photos of the area impacted. I have been working since June to have this refund processed, and they are either unresponsive or have given me incorrect information. One person even gave me the incorrect customer service email to submit my claim information. I have had tickets open, a supervisor come out, have contacted **** about it and supposedly ****** LLC is supposed to handle this since they caused the damage. I have spent hours calling them and even speaking to and texting a local representative. The local representative named ****** said he would help me, but now wont reply to communications. He said he would check my file, but now he hasnt answered. Honestly, Im not sure if he even works there anymore. He was nice, but has fallen off the radar. I just want my reimbursement at this point, because they are not helping me at all, and its been since June. Thats way too long to receive help or reimbursement, especially since its now mid-October. Thanks.

On Friday, September 10th, 2022 ********************************** and their sub-contractors arrived in our subdivision and began digging holes, driving bulldozers onto residential land destroying lawns, there was a bulldozer parked on my lawn along with thick ropes being dragged across my property. The crew was blocking driveways and causing a loud noise disturbance. This was done without properly notifying homeowners. I then contacted the business using the number provided (Ansco & Associates Georgia customer service **************) Their automated system stated that the company places doorknockers on resident's doors 2 weeks before crews arrive and work begins, I didn't receive any prior notification from the company mail, doorknocker or flyers. The system said that there is a website for residents to view information on the project in their area, when the project will begin and how long the crews will be in their area, it contains project manager info as well. After talking with a customer service person they told me either they were unaware of the website address or they intentionally gave me the wrong web address.

Our sprinkler system was damaged on or about March 2, 2022 by contractors from Ansco & Associates who were installing fiber optic cable in our neighborhood for ***** I spoke to a customer care representative from ********************** on ******* and I was given the following claim number: *****. I was told that the claim was received from ******** on 4-15-22, that they had all of the information they needed from me, and that it would probably take a month to process the claim. I spoke to another customer care representative on Friday ******* to inquire about the status of my claim. She said that she had no new information, but she would reach out to her supervisor and have someone contact me the following Monday. No one contacted me. On 6-14-22 a crew representing themselves as contractors for Ansco arrived at my house to repair my sprinkler system. I explained that the sprinkler system had already been repaired and I was waiting for my claim for damages to be processed by Ansco. I immediately contacted Ansco customer care to ask why they would be sending a contractor to repair a sprinkler system that they know full well had already been repaired. The customer care agent told me that she had no information regarding my claim because claims are handled by a different department. She said that she would send an urgent email to the other department and have someone contact me. No one contacted me. I emailed the customer care department at ********************** on ******, informing them that I would be pursuing legal action if I did not receive payment for the damages. I received a phone call from ****** at Ansco on 7-19-22 and spoke to him the following day. He instructed me to email all of the information to ******* in the claims department, which I did on that date. This included a description of how the damages occurred, the invoice for $490.00 from the company that repaired the damaged pipes, and the photographs of the repaired pipes. I have yet to receive a response.

Plumbing company fixed my main water line and also clearly stated in their invoice after the detailed analysis that **** fiber optic digging work has put enough pressure and ripped off the water mainline. I have spent more than $1400 to repair this and no one is willing to take responsibility. **** stated very rudely that this is not ****'s problem because they didn't do this work and I should be contacting Ansco. I opened up the claim a few months back with Ansco and also communicated with ************************* who now doesn't return my call anymore and the phone number which was given by **** and the same is also listed on a flyer that belongs to Ansco and not ****. I made numerous calls to the Ancso call center and there was no way we could communicate to the local office. Finally yesterday, I received a letter by post and Ansco denied my claim and stated that they had not worked at this property in the month of May 2022 which is not true because I do have evidence and captured pictures which have a timestamp of the work. My mail post also became very lose because of digging. I am looking forward to get reimbursement.

    Good afternoon,

ANSCO is committed to resolving customer complaints arising from work performed within the utility ROW.  In this instance we were notified of a broken water line approximately 30 days after work was performed.  A team was dispatched to the to the location and excavated the area where our work was performed.  No leak was detected.  Upon receiving the invoice from the homeowner, the leak was located approximately 30 feet away from our area of excavation at the entrance of the water line into the residence, not within our area of excavation.

    Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: First, Thank you for the prompt response. The plumber stated confidently that in his forty years of the Plumbing work, he has not seen that ten years of old house would have Main water line get damaged naturally on its own.Water leak was occurred under 3ft below so even I didnt know until I saw the unusual charges in a water bill and till then there was no water on the surface and that is the reason why it took little longer to acknowledge the damage.Plumbing company told me that this is not uncommon that wherever the work has been performed, I would see the leak at the same place. This is digging work and it has produced enough pressure that has ripped of the main water line off the house wall which is around 20 to 25 ft far from where the actual work was performed. After detailed analysis by plumbing company they concluded that the water line was not naturally damaged and because of the utility work (In this case no other contractors did any type of work except AT&T work/project) in our area impacted the main water line and put pressure on the line which have caused it to leak. I have enough evidence and witness to support whatever I have stated. This is my last attempt before taking this legally in the court so It is my humble request to Ansco to resolve it at this stage.

    Sincerely,
