I am enlisting to the **** active duty, and my self and my recruiter have requested my medical documents so that it can be processed by the Military entry processing station, and have been getting the run around for the last week and a half about why it hasn't been sent yet by the customer services ***** On top of that the language barrier which has made it extremely difficult for myself as well as the recruiter to communicate effectively and efficiently.

Scanstat tries to charge a $3.50 delivery fee when faxing records - Florida Statutes and Administrative Code allow for actual cost of mailing or sending. Furthermore, on the most recent request that they processed, 4 of the 5 pages of records were not within the date range requested, and 1 of the 5 was not even a medical note. We have previously advised Scanstat on prior invoices that they cannot charge the $3.50 delivery fee when faxing us records and have jumped through their hoops by emailing the attached rules to their accounts receivable department, yet they continue trying to collect illegal fees, most likely due to the fact that other law firms simply pay the excessive charges. I also see they are currently being sued in ******* for these same fees by another firm. When I let the representative know that these fees were not valid, he told me they are allowed to charge them. When asked what authority allows them to charge these fees, he said company policy allows it. It would be nice if whoever makes the policies at ScanStat could learn or be advised that ******* law and administrative code take precedence over their company policy.

We have a situation with the scan stat provider for the Well Med at Redbird location. We first sent a medical release request on September 20, 2022 to scan stat technologies, but it was rejected. After corrections were made, the revised medical release has been resent numerous times since, but we were informed that the medical release form was rejected each time. It was not until a conversation I had with a supervisor after escalating, that I was informed the medical release form was being rejected due to the attorneys signature being confused for the clients signature. After we clarified that and made further changes, the form continues to be rejected. Now the supervisors will not answer my calls, and I continue to be told that the forms I submit are rejected. I am told that the processing team will review the case and return our call, but now no one ever does call me back. The workers refused to let me speak to anyone in the processing team. We have been requesting a simple itemized billing statement for our clients personal injury case but have not been successful with scan stat. This has been the worst experience with medical records we have ever had, and we are requesting to speak to someone from management. In addition, we would like to file a formal complaint against the department.
