I was supposed to close on the sale of a home we purchase online with ***** auction. The home is ****************************************************************. On 22 April 2025, We were informed that the title had cleared, and were rushed to close on 28 April 2025, to which we agreed. On 23 April 2025, we were informed that there was an issue with the *** that needed to be resolved. Since then, we have continuously been kept uninformed by the vendor of the residence. Our contract closing date was for today, 5 May 2025, and we have not received any updates. Altisource is keeping us uninformed and stringing us along, without any resolve in sight. Our family was scheduled to move into this residence and we are now trying to figure out financially how to move forward because we need to consider storage of our house hold goods, additional temporary stay, and all of the hardship considerations for our family. We have tried contacting the ***, the title company, the vendor (PHH mortgage/ altisource) but we are constantly met with lazy and uninterested customer service. There are so many layers preventing a resolve and they dont seem to know how to solve this issue internally. They are manipulating their customers and appear to be creating a mistrust of the public. They currently have ***** dollars of my ******* money. I want to buy the house, however, if they cant sell it, I want my money back.Business Response

Complaint Against Altisource Solutions **** Breach of Relocation Agreement I entered into a cash-for-relocation agreement with Altisource Solutions ****, with clear legal stipulations set in court. As per the agreement, I was required to vacate my home by February 18, 2025, in exchange for a $15,000 certified check.I upheld my end of the agreementmy family (my wife and four children) and I vacated the home as required. However, when I arrived for the final inspection, I was shocked and blindsided to find that the promised certified check was instead a regular check.Because of this major deviation from our agreement, my bank has placed a 10-day hold on the funds, causing severe financial hardship for my family. We were already facing a difficult situation, abruptly leaving our home, and now we are without access to the money we urgently need. This is a serious failure on Altisources part. Their lack of transparency and failure to provide the agreed-upon certified check has placed my family in a stressful, unfair, and unnecessary financial bind. I am requesting immediate resolutionAltisource must honor the agreement by either issuing a certified check or covering any fees and delays caused by their failure to comply.I expect urgent assistance to rectify this situation.Business Response

I want to receive 25k additional to give my builder to continue the work on my home. I was told that they would not release anymore money with the inspection only being 15%. I appealed this because lifting the house was over 50%. The insurance adjuster said that the mortgage company must have changed the report. RE: Better Business Bureau Case No. 22004570
Dear ****************,
On behalf of Altisource *************** **** (AOA), I am providing this response to the above-referenced case (the Complaint) received through the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website on July 17, 2024. AOA manages Hubzu, which is an online real estate marketing and technology platform that allows sellers and listing agents to market properties and manage offers. We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and assure you that we have reviewed the matter fully to provide you with a comprehensive response.
Allegations in the Complaint:
You allege that it was not disclosed that the property was condemned.
Investigation results:
Upon receiving your complaint, we completed a full investigation of your allegations, and our findings indicate that this property was sold in AS IS condition without warranties on 7/28/2023 as stated in the Purchase and Sale Agreement (***) signed by you. Both the listing for this property and the *** required you to acknowledge that the property may contain defects and that you must assume all risks in purchasing the property. You represented in the *** that you were expressly waiving the right to receive any disclosures regarding the condition of the property and you specifically acknowledged that the Seller was not familiar with the condition of the property. Our research further indicates that your claim has been reviewed and denied by the title company and underwriter.
Resolution:
Your request to have the Seller fix all required items on the property you purchased in 2023 has been respectfully denied.
Should you or the BBB have any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at the phone number or email listed below.
Respectfully submitted,

I am rejecting this response because:you failed to disclosed this property was condemned, knowing that it was.
you also sold it as a HUD home, you failed to report that during your investigation as well.
have integrity and admit that you made a mistake. At least I will
take that!

My husband (***************************) and I placed the winning bid for an REO property (2 ******************************************* *****) on the auction website Hubzu at on 1/20/23. Our bid was accepted and a sales contract was sent to us. In the contract, the sellers (Altisource) set the closing date for 2/9/23. We signed the contract and sent $15k ******* money on 1/24/23, as per contract. Upon performing the title search for the property, an *************** was discovered for $57k. Also, fees totaling about $1500 have to be paid by seller as per contract to the building HOA in order for the sale to move forward. As per the contract, it's the sellers responsibility to provide a free and clear title in order to close the sale. These documents have been provided to the Altisource representatives *************************************** ***************************************************** *********************** ***************************************** and ************************* ****************************************** since 2/1/23. The closing date has passed. It's now been over 2 weeks and there has been no comminucation from Altisource regarding progress towards resolving these items. Our attorney *************************** *************************** sends multiple daily emails to all 3 Altisource reps as well as the sellers realtors Offer Spralja ************************ and ************************* ************************ and the seller's closing attorney *************************** ************************** without any response. Our main issue is our bank loan interest rate lock is set to expire on 2/23/2023 and extending the lock will be expensive. What we are looking for is COMMUNICATION from the sellers representatives as to whether any progress is being made with respect to paying these fees in order for the title to be cleared and a new closing date set. If we must request a loan rate lock extention, we want a rider added to the contract stating Altisource will pay as the delay is their fault. No one responds to any communications and we feel Altisource is acting in bad faith.Business Response

I have received a letter via mail on 9/19/22 and two notices posted on my property, one on 9/22/22 and today 9/28/22. I don't know what scam this company is running! The letter and notices are offering money to former homeowners and tenants to relocate, what the mortgage industry calls "cash for keys". I am the current homeowner. This is clearly documented on my property with in my county registry of deeds (land records) by the county registrar. I have no mortgage. I want this company to stop, cease and desist all contact with me. I did reach out to the Altisource ************ Services to find out who posted documents on my property and was told there is no record of my property. Again, not sure what type of scam is going on here. Thank You!Business Response

In regards to the matter of public records, which do not reflect the comments in the response from Altisource, if anything was done, it was fabricated and fraudulent.
