    We purchased seven tickets to monster jam at the *************************. The website indicated that this was an stadium east event with 12 drivers (trucks). After purchasing the tickets we found out there will only be 6 drivers involved in this event. After contacting monster jam, we verified there were only 6 drivers at this event. That is considerably less than the 12 we were expecting. We asked for a refund as we purchased tickets based on the advertising from the website included here ***************************************************. They offered no refund as they said all purchases are final, but we didn't purchase tickets to see 6 drivers we purchase to see 12 drivers as their website indicated.

    Dear BBB,

    Our organization, **************** and The Classic Center, received notice in the mail on 5/13/25 as to a a "complaint". This was the first notice we had received (direct from BBB) to any issue, and to our knowledge had not first heard from or received a call from the consumer prior to this notice. Our organization, as the ticketing agent, would have been happy to respond and address this customer matter had we been given the opportunity prior to this BBB notice.

    We would kindly ask the BBB to strongly consider removing any negative rating associated with this matter as we want nothing more than to clear up this matter with the consumer and are more than happy to advocate on their behalf. The complaint, whether viable or not, is in regard to the venue producer it appears as the customer clearly states "after contacting Monster Jam", and not The Classic Center as the venue hosting the event. Why would The Classic Center receive a poor rating and be tarnished in this manner?

    We as the venue are indeed the host venue of the event, conducts ticket sales, and lease space to Monster Jam to hold the event. However, the Arena/Classic Center is not the producer or the entity advertising the event or creating advertising content. Please be advised.

    Subsequently, upon learning of the possible unintentionally incorrect information (6 vs. 12 trucks) provided to us by the event producer and listed on our own website, in the last 24 hours we have removed any potentially confusing or inaccurate information form our website and have contacted the producers and made them aware. We do not control any content on the Monster Jam website. Also, we are more than happy to speak with and work with Ms. ********* as the complaining party should she seek a refund, but would understandably seek the courtesy of being contacted directly and given the opportunity to do so rather than find out via a BBB complaint. 

    I look forward to getting this resolved, hearing back from the BBB, and having this matter expunged from any association with The Classic Center in the sense of a poor rating.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I appreciate ******* wanting to work with us in getting a refund on the monster jam tickets.  As you can see from the original complaint, we attached correspondence (monster jam 2 PDF) between London ***** and ticketing at ************************  The signature was from the response was from ************** the Classic Center & *****************  So, we did contact them directly and received a response from the Classic Center on April 29.  I have tried to reattached the document, but it was included on the original complaint.   Their only suggestion was to sale our ticket via third party, and to contact monster truck about the misleading advertising.  It sounds like the Classic Center visited with monster truck regarding the misleading advertising which we appreciate. However, we would still like a full refund for purchasing tickets due to false advertising without having to sale them via third party.

We have made every effort to update our own website and make sure there is no unintended confusion or misinformation to the extent possible as provided by Monster Jam. We valued your feedback and appreciate your situation and intend to do all we can to assist you for sure as we move forward. 

    To that end, I'd like to offer a few options to help from the venue side- yes, we do have an authorized ticket reseller partner in Seat Geek. If you would like to list your tickets for sale and sell them there we could digitally "print" the tickets for you in your account thus enabling you to engage with Seat Geek (SG) to list them for sale. Whether directly integrated or not, SG requires patrons to directly set up an account with them first on their platform to enable sales- it is an easy process overall. The tickets will be 100% authentic and valid as listed. Let us know if you would like to pursue this option, happy to help on this end. As a second option, and in addition to assisting with resell efforts, we would like to offer you tickets to a different future event/concert/show of your choice at any of our venues, complimentary. It would be our pleasure to host you and your group at a future event (within 1 year of MJ) as a token of our appreciation for your business.
