Our household continues to receive a bill from this company, even though we are not their customer. They did the initial termite inspection for our new construction home and nothing more. We never signed a contract for service with this company. No warranty services were rendered. We have attempted to resolve via email and phone contact multiple times to no avail. We believe this is a predatory company who preys on the elderly.

    Ms. *******,

I am sorry to hear that you had such difficulty resolving this issue. It looks like as of 10:43 this morning, this has been cancelled and the account cleared. Just to explain the reason we were sending a bill, the builder proved a termite preventative treatment in the form of a pretreat to you with the build that he purchased from our company. This automatically includes a repair and retreat warranty should you want to keep it. The cost of that is $160 annually. Any correspondence that we sent you regarding this was in an attempt to maintain this warranty. You were never under any obligation to pay or keep the warranty. I apologize if that was not explained to you. If you were aware of how this worked and were simply not able to get your request handled, I apologize for that as well. Should you change your mind, we can resume your warranty for this property. I hope that you are satisfied with the resolution and that you reach out to us if you ever need anything. Again, that account is cleared and the existing warranty has been canceled. You should not receive any further notices about his matter. I hope you have a great day.

    Best Regards,

I have one service left on my contract with American Pest control out of ******** **. Normally when a pest control sprays I smell the bug poison, but the poison does not have a smell.Next complaint is normally I've only seen 1-2 bugs when I ask for pest control, but everytime they spray I see bugs for next 2 weeks. I have asked to cancel for service, but have been told since I have one service left in my contract, I'll have to pay 60% of of the $85 service fee. I have not received the bill yet.I do not think this is fair.

I purchased a termite bond/contract with the ******* office roughly one and a half year ago. When purchasing the contract, I was told that if I paid the contract outright with no financing, that it would come with 5 years of free inspections and renewal fees. About a year later, I started receiving an invoice for the renewal fee. I've called numerous times to see why was i being charged. I was told that it would be be resolved and 4 months later, I am still receiving invoices.

********************** home was treated on 06/24/2021 with a Defined Soil Treatment for termites with a Lifetime Retreat and Repair Warranty at ************************************************************. The employee who sold him this treatment is no longer and employee of American Pest Control. However, the agreement signed by ****************** on 06/24/2021 clearly states that there is a renewal fee of $175.00 annually after the initial treatment. The initial treatment was for $2500. The property is ***** sq. ft. including both the home and the garage. The treatment was charged at $0.53 per square foot. This did not include any additional renewal fees. We do not offer any sort of financing or any other options other than Cash on Delivery. Paying up front instead of financing in order to receive 5 years of free renewal fees would not have been an option. As I mentioned, the employee, *****************************, who sold this, is no longer an employee at American pest Control. However, with the contract signed by both parties, we have no reason to believe that this was the agreement made between ****************** and the technician/company. We are sorry for any misunderstanding and do hope that ****************** keeps his warranty. The renewal for this warranty is $175 annually due in June of each year. The warranty covers the retreatment or repair from termite damage or activity at ********************************************************* for the life of the house. We are happy to discuss this further with ******************. We have been in touch with him from our ******* office. If he wishes to speak with someone else, he can call the corporate number at ************ and speak to our Director of Sales and Service **********************
