    Lack of communication. Did not show up for our wedding, ignored texts and calls. Emailed us 3hrs before the ceramony stating she would not make it. Gave us refund by end of day but is there a reason we could not be told earlier so we would of had time to find a back up? We barely have photos of our wedding now!! Do not do business with *****. She was supposed to be rebranding too so keep an eye out!!

    When I 1st fired ***** I thought she was a fit. After hiring her she turned out to not be. I didn't receive what I paid for. I've even reached out to her. She has blocked me on all social media outlets and will not return emails or text messages. Do not use her!

    I wish I could rate this photographer with ZERO stars. Please heed the other BBB reviews of this photographer's wedding photo business. AVOID booking with Among the Flames Photography due to unprofessional communication and huge delays in obtaining the agreed-upon product. My brother and his wife had a positive experience with this photographer until it was time to receive the photos per the contract, at which time, this photography did not respond in a timely manner to their repeated attempts to obtain their wedding photos over the course of more than FIVE months. They married in July 2023. This photographer sent photos in small batches throughout the summer, but she did not send the quantity of photos as outlined in the contract. Over the next FIVE months, my brother and his wife reached out respectfully requesting updates on their photos, and their correspondences went mostly unanswered. She continued to add photos to their gallery little by little, but again, it was well past the "6-8 weeks" as she advertises in her website. Ultimately, my brother and his wife did not receive their full online gallery until January 5, ****, and most of the photos were un-edited. Again, they got married in July 2023. I see that other reviews mention this photographer blocking them. While I can't say that this happened to my brother and his wife, I can attest that this photographer's communication was sorely lacking and I agree 100% with the sentiments of other reviewers. Interestingly, this photographer seems to also have ghosted these reviewers around the same time she failed to respond to my brother and his wife. No wedding couple deserves to undergo the stress and frustration that happened because of this photographer's unprofessional actions. I do NOT recommend this photographer. I

    This was the most unprofessional thing Ive gone through. Her communication was good up until a week before my wedding. My wedding was 10/7/23. On my wedding day, she sent someone else to take my photos without communicating with me. She basically ghosted me. Then I had to reach out and beg and beg to get any photos back from her. Our contract stated sneak peeks within a certain time (that didnt happen) and a full album within a certain time (that didnt happen either) I would never recommend this photographer to anyone. Steer clear.

    We hired ***** for our wedding September 27th, 2023. She had done great with our engagement photos except for the fact that they were 1 week past the delivery date but we understood she might have been busy. She was kind and everything that day but on our wedding day she was alittle grouchy and ***** during our family portraits but was fine after and she stated she took close to **** photos. Our gallery was supposed to be delivered by November 6th and she has yet to deliver it. I messaged her on November 12th asking for an update to which she said they would be ready in a week but she has yet to deliver them and it is now December 19th. She has since ignored any messages asking for an update, I waited a month before requesting another update and she blocked me on ********* I have noticed her updating our gallery every few weeks but she did not even begin to add photos besides the sneakpeeks until after the due date for the gallery. She is incredibly unprofessional and I hope she is never able to ruin a couple's wedding day by being a photographer again.

    I don't feel I can truly justify even leaving one star. I had a signed contract of service and on the day of my wedding she completely ghosted me, and blocked me of all contact. We had been in communication before hand, she seemed great, we had a voice call a week before the wedding to go over details and then the day of cut off all communication and left me stranded. It's extremely unprofessional and I pray she doesn't get the chance to do this to other brides.
