    April 25th, 2025 Some more context: Went in for new struts and an alignment. Automotive Professionals incorrectly installed the front right strut (left is fine to my knowledge) and I only found out because they could not do the alignment (lift was broken) and I had to go to ************ to do that part and finish the job. Midtown called me immediately and said they couldnt do the alignment due to the strut being installed incorrectly, and that it needed to be fixed immediately. Additionally, since it was installed wrong and I drove on it, the front sway bars were bearing too much weight and also needed to be replaced as soon as possible (I am trying to get the 1st shop to pay for this as well). I was upset and needed my car fixed asap, so told Midtown Tire to just go ahead and fix everything. My thinking was no point in taking it back to the 1st shop, they incorrectly installed it AND they cant do the alignment, which still needs to be done, so Id have to bring my car back to ************ to do that anyway. I decided to get Midtown Tire to fix the strut, the sway bars, which were damaged due to the incorrect installation of the strut, and the alignment. I tried to get in touch with the manager of Automotive Professionals, to discuss a refund for the incorrect installation and payment for the sway bars, and he avoided me. He would not allow his store manager to give me his contact information at all, and wouldnt speak with me. He was extremely difficult and wouldnt give any refund at all, until I told him I was thinking of retaining an attorney and seeking damages. Then, they offered me a $375 refund for only the strut, nothing else, dispute me providing invoices and photos to them from the other shop proving the sway bars were damaged due to their incompetence. Even now, they refuse to give me the $375 and I am out of ideas
