      I am rejecting this response because:

      You said that you would respond with a formal response by 10/2 and it is 10/5. I have one week to respond and this is a necessity. This falls in line with the rest of the company's behavior so far as I was told multiple times that I would hear back in the next couple of days then when I called back after those few days, I was given the same response that you would contact me at a later date. To be honest, your company put my car on the road with the potential to burn up the engine and create a hazard to me and other people on the road so the fact that you aren't responding is disappointing.

      l for ******** which included another oil change along with repairing the aforementioned broken parts. After being given the bill, I communicated with the manager of Valvoline Express and was asked to send the invoice. After not hearing anything for a week, I had to call back and was told that I should have not gotten the repair so that they could look at the damage. At this point the repair was already done and I was told that this would be passed up the chain. I have still not heard from anyone else (a week later) and the manager, who has been very helpful, is not authorized to do anything further.

      Good morning,

      The oil sending unit an pig tail connector are above the oil filter housing. When performing an oil change we do not go above or past the oil filter housing. I do not know how this damage was caused. There was no opportunity for us to access any of these issues immediately after the oil light would not go off.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      You are completely ignoring the wire assembly issue which is very clearly located where the oil change would happen according to the repair shop from *** in their write up. Even if we say that you were not responsible for the pigtail and oil dispenser, the largest part of my expense is the wire assembly. I was told that you don't handle the check engine oil light, which may have been a miscommunication, but was never told to bring the car back to you. After getting the repairs, I was told in a call on September 7th that you meant to tell me to bring it in for you to have a look. The repairs had to happen for my car to be safe to drive on the road. It is unrealistic to expect me to wait around for you to follow up, which you never did as I always had to initiate the call.
