We recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Six West Auto Care at ***************************************************. My 2013 Dodge Journey was towed to their shop, and I initially communicated with Ms. ******************* regarding the repairs needed for the ***.Two days later, Ms. ****** informed me via call and text that the alternator and battery were bad. I appreciated that she managed to get the warranty company to cover the alternator. We provided the battery, oil, and oil filter for an oil change. However, shortly after, she informed me that the *** needed a throttle body and temperature sensor replacement.Given the choice of paying $150 for the diagnostic fee and the balance for the alternator work, if I took the *** elsewhere, I felt compelled to agree to the additional repairs. This decision led to a total cost of $661, plus the parts for the throttle body and temperature sensor, a significant financial burden. On Thursday evening, August 1, 2024, Ms. ****** texted to say the *** was ready. We went to pick it up the following day, only to find that the *** would not start. It was clear that the vehicle had not been moved from its original spot since arriving at the shop. Later that day, Ms. ****** texted again, stating the mechanic forgot to mention another issue with the ***, which would cost an additional $375. Frustrated, I informed her I would send a tow truck to retrieve the *** that day.Over the weekend, another mechanic inspected the *** and diagnosed a blown head gasket. This discovery left me with a sense of betrayal, as it suggested that Six West Auto Care likely knew about the head gasket issue and was trying to exploit us through unnecessary repairs not covered by the warranty. This experience has been nothing short of frustrating and financially draining. Six West Auto Care lacked honesty and concern for its customers. They provided misleading information about the state of my vehicle and failed to deliver competent service.

The business owners are very unprofessional, and they like to clap back when you give your experiences they had my car from July to December of 2023 totaling five months for a 5 day job in that time span, I struggled trying to get to work, to get my insurance company to extend my rental, almost two repossessions, ultimately losing my job and apartment because of their failure to fix my vehicle, then they claimed my vehicle was done in October but by that time I lost my job and I had to get a new one and I was training for a new job in another state, when I returned they wanted me to pay $600 for storage fees. I paid it and my car still was not ready and they said its not ready now because it had to sit at that time. I was in a loaner car that is the same year ****************************************************************************************************************************** Finally, they said that it was the *** and theyre taking it to the dealership because it still had an extended warranty on my *** so I told them that I would just be proactive and have it towed there which one is it they gave me the correct one and I had a tow there once it got there the dealership said that its not my ***. They just did not put my engine in properly (oh I forgot, they were supposed to put a new engine into my vehicle through my extended warranty company and they got $6000 from them to do so another $600 from me totaling $6,600) so they wanted to get my vehicle back but I knew if I sent it back to them my vehicle would probably still remain in that shop well into **** and I did not have time for that. I allowed the dealership to fix my vehicle and they charge me an additional $700 but I have been riding ever since December DONT go to this company they dont know what theyre doing, will hold your vehicle hostage for months,& not productive. The address that ****** or the BBB have on file is incorrect. Theyve moved, but they are still the same slimeballs.
