I test-drove a 2019 Yukon XL on May 1 , 2024 and the salesmen had to jump the car off because the battery was dead. He assured me that it was because the car was sitting. I purchased the *** , went of the certified checks of the car , purchased the extended warranty, and drove home. On May 2 I had a business meeting and had to fly to AZ where I was gone for 3 days. Once I returned the car would not start. I called the salesman and was told he was out as I asked if the battery had been checked and no call back concerning this matter was returned. I purchased a jump box because the battery dies every 3 days. On May 20, the check engine light came on the car and read that the oil sensor needed to be replaced. Repairs were completed on the car as the warranty does NOT cover this repair. Then, on July 9, 2024 the check engine light came on again and the oil was changed on the car. The check engine light went off. Then today, July 10, 2024 the car didn't start and the check engine light came on again. The car is at the shop. I have been in the repair shop more than for a car that was purchased less than 3 months ago from Auto Nation. I feel that the "certified" used car check is a scam and that AUTO NATION need to ensure that they are selling quality ***'s. I am hoping that the *** can fully be prepared and that I am NOT in the shop every month. The total price of the *** is $38,000. DON"T buy from Auto Nation because the company doesn't really check their used items. They are just about selling cars and warranties.
